Late to watching this but I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I hope you get to watch his Hope on the Stage tour. It was such an amazing show from production, visuals and energy. Highly recommend. I'm so proud of J-hope for the performer he has become!

GD is clearly more like… this generation’s Prince. Not that he sounds or acts like him but: fashion icon, is a bit weird, GD’s dance style and stage style is less like an idol and more like “stage presence” VERY Prince.

When you think about the factors that made Michael Jackson Michael Jackson, those aspects are essential parts on which Kpop labels focus while they create an idol. Therefore, Kpop idols are basically meant to be like Michael Jackson. As if being the next Michael Jackson was the goal everybody is trying to reach. By the way… how do you view G-Dragon in this regard? Because I do not want to say he is the next Michael Jackson, because there is something that stops me from making this statement. On the other hand… he is the chosen one. I mean, right from the early years of his career whole Korea knew and agreed he is “the idol”.

2025-09-02 23:35:32 +0000 UTCThe show is so amazing as whole, but my fav moments: 1- the crowd sung JK part in (I wonder) 2- (killin' it girl) started when the whole crowd went 🎼🎶 tone in ~ to the one and only jhope🎶🎼 3- the purple heart project 4- Neuron performance+fireworks My sister watched live with me, she isn't BTS fan but she was impressed by hopi energy and stage presence which I totally agree even as ARMY I still can't get used to it

2025-09-02 19:54:52 +0000 UTCI can't every time I saw that dancer I remember JYP lol, honestly I am in awe, the solo era show us how powerful jhope actually is, like when I go back and watch BTS performances I realized the fact each time his part come the vibe of the song change and it became so powerful... also ARMY here, killin' it, they were so amazing. Actually for some reason whenever I watch this show I became overthinking lol, I don't know why I found myself thinking about myself, life, relationships etc

From the moving stages, the VCRs, the fire/pyrotechnics, the setlist, the street dancers stages - you would for sure love everything. It has been months since he finished the tour and I still could not get over for how spectacular it was.

The aura he has...🤯 If you haven't seen one of his concerts, you definitely should!!!! Either here or in your own time. I would recommend "Final in Seoul - Day 1". There are also performances with JK and Jin as the concert was on BTS anniversary day💜 (He performed "I wonder..." with JK, maybe you can check this one out if you don't have time for the whole thing)

2025-09-02 07:10:23 +0000 UTCI was in that crowd!!! I went to Lollapalooza Berlin mainly to see IVE (my 2nd time seeing them live), and the girls absolutely killed it! Normally I only listen to girl groups, but I obviously know j-hope and his music (it's just not something I actively listen to). Still, this concert absolutely blew me away. Like you said, it was a complete show - not "just" a performance. You could really tell you were watching a true artist and a huge, huge star who belongs on the world's biggest stages. That ending with NEURON was magical... I think this concert really changed something in me (heck, maybe I'll start listening to more boy groups now, haha). Thank you for reacting to this, it was so much fun reliving these moments again with you!

2025-09-01 17:04:44 +0000 UTCj-hope is an artist in the real sense of the word. He is driven to improving his craft as seen in his dedication and passion in whatever he does. I was fortunate enough to see his Hope On the Stage concert 6 times and man, those were the best days of my life. When he was preparing for HOS, he said "come to the show with high expectations" and he didn't disappoint. Usually, it would take some time for performers to get used to the routine and get better as the tour progresses but Hobi was on his 100 percent the first day of his Seoul concert. I wish you can watch his HOS stages, especially those in Korea, because the production of the concert was topnotch. He participated in all aspects of the concerts that's why it was so j-hope. So incredible. So genuine. So j-hope. I am always a Neuron girly. I saw HOS live 6 times and I cried during NEURON 6 times. What does that tell you? Haha. On the last day of the encore, I sat on my seat for around 30 mins more, crying my heart out that the Korean lady next to me had to calm me down. Best experience of my life!!!

A new 4 part documentary series for CORTIS was just released & it is SO GOOD! I have never wanted to see your reacttion to something more in my life PD 😅. We get to see so many different sides to the members & their group dynamic that I have honestly never seen from a freshly debut group. Each episode is like 20 minutes long & they are all jam packed with behind the scenes production of songs (not big spoilers don't worry), member interviews, and just regular everyday life of them in a studio camp in LA making their EP.
