They said they were do grateful to the other contestants who vaguely spoke their language cus they’re the only one who translated and tried to help them

Listen, these kids behave the way they do—I’ll call it out but also with the caveat of: remember they are in a high stress kind of a “live or die” feeling situation and they are also MOSTLY KIDS. So frankly yeah THEY MIGHT BE DUMB AND SAY DUMB SHXXT. I’m pretty critical of JongXing throughout this show but I always recognized his talents and also always left the room for “I need to see something different from his attitude, a modicum of hope”. Totally got that in ep8.

2025-09-02 07:19:16 +0000 UTCPD for your info - Zhang Hao actually brought a bunch of Dunkins and other food with his own money (instead of the sponsored tanghulu). The eliminated trainees came on livestreams later to say that there were so much food it lasted for days. The gesture really touched them since the food for C group was horrendous apparently. Really shady of them to evil edit Zhang Hao when it's not even his season LOL. Also, Sun Hengyu is from a region called Jilin. There's a huge group of ethnic Koreans who live there. So I wouldn't be surprised if he was ethnically Korean from at least his mother's side!

He could be ethically Korean; maybe that’s why he spoke to his mom in Korean - Nian boheng said he was raised in NY. I guess that’s why his “solar” pronunciation was so “crisps” lmaooo

There were more planet C trainees eliminated than in planet K, is that because a lot of all star went down ? But I don’t understand if that’s how the math works 1. That’s a huge production error 2. Then that means there’s an amount of views that they’re counting on for each star group right? Because if they were just ranking it by amount like top 1 to top 40 in terms of most fancam x masters decision, then still there wouldn’t be a miscalculation of more planet C than planet K going home specifically as a result on the signal song? I’m confused again send help in the comments please

I miss him..but he did mentioned that he kinda regretted that he joined c planet and not k planet because of the language barrier but I think since Nian wanted to go to C planet the. he just followed him...also he met with Brian from K planet (literally same person in two different bodies haha) Li Zihao... my man I love him so much he's so sweet, funny and talented , Suren NEEDS more screen time since he's so talented all rounder... love these two also imo it's so unfair that the elimination wasn't split in half with k planet, like wdym more Korean trainees could stay (some in my opinion did not really deserved it but that's conversation for other time haha) why not go for 50 Korean 50 Chinese till this day I don't understand why meet wanted to debut Chinese group, make whole different planet YET they hate Chinese trainees so much like bro bffr

2025-09-01 20:08:38 +0000 UTCNo one know what happened behind closed doors, also we are getting third translations of whatever is said by Planet C trainees (and shocker a lot of bilingual Chinese fans have stated there have been issues with nuance and in general just egregious errors even in the Chinese to Korean translation), in general on a survival show (and one that is infamous for its treatment of contestants), I give 100% benefit of the doubt, I can acknowledge that this person did something that wasn’t appealing but I need people to remember YOU DONT KNOW THEM AND THIS IS NOT A REFLECTION OF WHO THEY ARE AS PEOPLE FOR THEIR ENTIRE LIVES, they have a thousand cameras on them in a volcano of a pressure cooker, anyone who is writing legitimate hate comments or death threats needs to get a reality check: you’re not an ethics judge you’re just verbally assaulting someone who you don’t know in real life and doing so behind the protection of a screen; the caveat being if this person on tv actually committed a crime or they assaulted another person in the show verbally or physically, but when someone has a bad attitude the most I would say is that is frustrating they did that in this moment I don’t care for that and I don’t think this is a good fit for them AND MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE, not just hurling insults because you think they can’t see it—ik at this point I shouldn’t expect nuance and maturity from the internet but something about a reality or survival show that brings on the worst in people and I’m still shocked by the heinous things people will say or do to bring someone else down

2025-09-01 19:39:33 +0000 UTCThe limited calls was messed up to me, especially because Planet K didn’t need to “win” anything to contact their family, hopefully again it’s just a thing for the show and behind the scenes they are allowed to have longer conversations — I also don’t see the point in what including this would be? Having them cut off mid way just feels awful not funny—and Planet C has to deal with different time zones and there are a lot of minors on this show? I didn’t get it as a viewer and as far as production I’m not sure the point, family calls make sense but there is no additive of trying to make gamify it there’s no extra entertainment value (on top of the other horror stories I hear of lack of translators, not informing planet C trainees of standard production movements, cold/insufficient meals, comparatively worse living quarters in planet k also, that through testimonial are said to have been bug infested as well)

2025-09-01 17:41:34 +0000 UTCi wish we could see the full signal song test, because some of the rankings are so odd... i'm the biggest binghua stan so obviously i'm biased but idk how the three guys @ 47:46 were only demoted to 1 star while binghua got 0 (in the moment)... they only showed 37:45 for him but, like, most of them sucked when attempting the high note. i doubt the rest was that atrocious, since we can see him keeping up with jiang fan regarding dance @ 2:15. there's just no shot binghua did that badly, even being sick, unless he forgot all the lyrics and stopped dancing, which they would've shown! idk how he and others were put back in 1 star by the next scene, unless they also adjusted a bunch of ranks without mentioning them. if anyone knows why, lmk if anyone cares, binghua's major weaknesses are belting and his range is pretty limited. if you want to see him belt, his project 7 'LALALA' performance has some of that. but for something that suits his image, watch the project 7 'time after time' performance

But here he's one of the most strict masters (i would cry if i ever got judged by him). I never knew he had this side to him, but it makes a lot of sense considering he has his own label.

2025-09-01 15:18:42 +0000 UTCI think Lin Quinan is a d*ck for leaving his nephew in the show while he was the one that wanted to join the first Boys Planet, Shunyu was talked into joining by Quinan. Just because something is hard doesn't mean you have to quit (I think those 2 were salty about being 1 star, and maybe being treated badly by the Korean staff). At least the others are taking good care of him and the last member of that team he was in (Dong Jingkun, All Star member) is still on the show so he has someone to rely on. But Lin Quinan should stick to being a Jackie Chan wannabe (Also bragging about having 6 million followers in the second episode, to running back to his safe space)
