2025-08-26 23:48:40 +0000 UTCMy take on Geonwoo is that he has the right skill set but he always comes off as too calculated, so all his performances feel very restrained to me. 100% agree on him being bland or white rice LOL I think it's more of a mental/emotional issue more than anything else. He was a safe pick for the K-center because he's perfect on paper like what an idol should look like. I want to see him just let loose.

It's a nice way to get to know the members and their personality better! For example I didn't know that An Xin can rap and that yoonmin is a great vocalist :o

Obviously you cannot compare that with NingNing’s… but I am super glad YOON MIN got that part and that he is getting far in the show. I am not sure if he is interesting for Mnet because of his age + him being really an artistic person and not your “traditional Mnet group idol”

He’s talented but he doesn’t pour his soul into his performances anymore and it shows. I remember Yoomin being much more exciting on LOUD but that show alone was four years ago… that’s a whole school life like high school or college. I think he’s tired, and this is just me guessing, maybe doesn’t have the same passion anymore but it’s been his dream for so long he doesn’t know how to let go.

2025-08-16 13:29:45 +0000 UTCYeah if we but the bullying scandal to the side my view about Geonwoo he's bland, neutral, nothing special, star power is very low, hes a decent singer/dancer/rapper but nothing stands out to me, his aura/stage presence compared to others its low. And hes in my opinion overrated he isn't even in my top8 as B2P started like I didn't noticed him at all and still don't I've my top8 lineup without Geonwoo, hes more in a two star level. And he wont make it to my top8 lineup I've them already and it isn't a big loss if Geonwoo doesn't make it

I think one of the reasons Junseo doesn't really stand out but rather "just fits in" is because he hasn't really shown it all yet... I'd say the same for a lot of the debuted idols on BP actually... I've seen most of them live (Junseo with WEi, Verivery, MCND, DKB) and tell me why even compared to the "bigger" names in Kpop WEi and Verivery especially remain as some of the best and memorable live performances I've seen... I don't know if it's hesitation to go all out or what exactly it is but to come back to Junseo, he definitely has been holding back during BP... I agree that in the Studio Choom video he stands out more. Another factor maybe is MNET's way of shooting BP, with them focusing on 1 to 2 members with "emotional progress and or *sob* stories" during performance prep, and Junseo is just not a really "loud" character in general... again I have no idea what exactly it is - there is sooooo much going on backstage and especially with these survival shows - but at least for next weeks episodes we already saw a glimpse of Junseo struggling (again focus on emotinal stories) so I'm curious to see how that pans out... Again I've seen Junseo (WEi) a couple of times live over the years and have known him since 1the9/Under19 and while he was not necessarily my bias/favorite he definitely stood out more before... Which also brings me to my emotional dilemma: Rooting for him to make it in yet another group and potentially become super super successful, or hoping for him back in WEi, even though they'll probably slow down all activites with Yohan's focus on acting and military service(s)... and one last thing, the comparison to Eunwoo and Minhyun made me chuckle because in WEi Yohan definitely has that role down but with Junseo going into acting with the BL... yeah maybe he'll be the Eunwoo/Minhyun/Yohan of another group - we'll see

2025-08-16 10:15:14 +0000 UTCSo basically the person who exposed geonwoo got exposed on twitter & they were behind multiple hate campaigns for wonyoung 🙂↕️ they also said if geonwoo went abroad they’d “get a gn and kll him”?? also idk if u know sojang but they called themself his personal sojang & sojang was someone who spread false rumours about wonyoung so like??? they also claimed they went to a psychiatrist bc of him when they’d actually been going to one years before even training with him plus park hanbin + another idol who’ve worked with him have defended him. and from geonwoo’s statement it sounds like most of it was false or super exaggerated and the only thing he admitted to was being a strict leader and harsh at times but thats not rlly the same as being a bully😭 kinda like how garam apologized even tho she was innocent

2025-08-16 01:34:03 +0000 UTCHonestly, i prefer the B2P stage over both the studio choom and mcountdown stage. Sangwon's last chorus was incredible, felt more emotionally moved there. Also, Ifeel like yoonmin's attitude has been dulled over the years as he continues to go thru survival shows, this is 3rd one im seeing him on. It rlly surprised me that he doesn't quite hold my attention like he did during loud. I had no intentions of being invested in this show but i watched to episodes that have released here and couldn't hild myself back from cathing up on my own, and now im voting too... P.s., this entire show, i keep seeing people that look like other people, here's my small list: Leo reminds me of Ryeoun (the actor in twonkling watermelon playing eun gyeol). Nian Bowen reminds we on SVT wonwoo. At first i thought Geonwoo looked like SKZ seungmin but now im also seeing SVT joshua in him. Sun Heng Yu reminds me of SVT The8. Tae Ho reminds me of TBZ Kevin (only a tad bit tho). Zhao Guang Xu looks like a softer version on SKZ Lee Know. That's all i can think of rn, thanks for coming to my TED talk.

2025-08-16 01:00:19 +0000 UTCmy overall thoughts on the whiplash team though was that this team had individuals who really stood out (sangwon, leo, anxin) but it was it a bit unbalanced because some other members really faded into the background, and so their team synergy didn’t stand out to me. in comparison to s1, i think the performances this round overall felt less complete to me? even though a lot of individuals did very well!

2025-08-16 00:59:08 +0000 UTCi really agree with your thoughts about anxin! he’s definitely in my top 3 picks at the moment, so i’m biased for sure, but i feel he has a LOTTT of untapped potential. he’s very captivating already when he performs, and he’s solid in all his skills, but i think i’m just waiting for a moment where everything CLICKS for him and he showcases everything he’s capable of. it feels like he doesn’t have complete? immersion in the song and that slightly holds him back, but his skills set is good and his natural presence and charm definitely helps him. i think if he can just learn to intentionally channel that presence into more facial expressions and gestures he’ll be unstoppable

2025-08-16 00:53:49 +0000 UTCYeah Junseo is really stable and well rounded, he’s not in WEI for nothing, but he did get a lot of fans from his acting in the BL Secret Relationships, he does have great acting chops and I think has that ability to bring realness to a character, which also makes him a great idol for understanding what feelings need to be brought out for any concept

I’m not too fond of Geonwoo and his talents( I feel he is a bit overrated), I can’t remember his name but I’m not too fond of the rapper, and junseo as well, he is beautiful and very talented but I feel there are others that surpass him!
