Even before I knew what the lyrics meant, the song just made me feel so happy and nostalgic at the same time and I love the way Onew signs it and the composition. It’s just such a feel good song. That man can convey so much emotion with his voice! I’ve had the whole album on repeat since it dropped. Onew’s music just makes me so happy and I love seeing people appreciate it and him too.

2025-08-15 00:30:10 +0000 UTCA huge part of why I enjoy these listening parties is the extra context you provide to the song especially with knowing the language so I always learn something new when I listen it’s so fun!! Especially with the Silky part, I agree he’s great at singing about relatable experiences and it’s fantastic. I had the same thought that Onew is going more of a Jonghyun route, addding a lot of those spoken adlibs and different things in the production the more his solos have evolved!! But yeah this was a great album, Percent is my favorite song on this album so I'm thankful to hear the nuances of it here and the translation of Epilogue was absolutely beautiful so thanks for sharing that. I’m glad you enjoyed it so much!!

My favorite songs are silky and Percent, but they change sometimes 😁.. there is no skip song for me, they are all wonderful songs. I am so happy as a Shawol/Jjinggu that Onew has help you so much and I wish he knew how much his music help us heal.

For me his overall discography is such adult music; i've seen people complaining because his music is not sexy or darker (which people usually relate to being more adult), but what's more adult and thoroughtly thought about than music about life, loss, lack and gain of confidence, struggling through it all but coming out of it yearning for life? or just about wanting to take a nap on your bed lol. I don't know, but his music makes me wanna be alive and that's the highest of the compliments.

I think it's almost a year since I wrote that comment urging you to listen to Circle because he literally saved my life with his music, and seeing you listening to Jinki, seeing you smile and laugh and cry and be genuine and joyful - you can't even imagine how happy I am for you. I relate to your struggles a lot, and seeing Jinki's music help you helps me as well, to be honest. I have been struggling lately, yet his voice is getting through all the weight that presses on me and lifts it so that I can finally breathe. There are so many things to be thankful for - what Jinki taught me is to enjoy every single moment and move forward even if it's difficult. So now I'm going to go and serenade my bed, drink my coffee, eat my oreo cake and be happy as much as I can. It will be okay, PD, I really believe that. I can't wait for your listening parties for Jonghyun and SHINee group stuff. Also, I'm going to repeat what I said under your schedule post, but Key's new album is incredible. Can't wait for you to freak out to it 😆

2025-08-13 20:23:34 +0000 UTCwatching people go from epilogue to happy birthday wondering why epilogue isnt the last one and then it hitting them is my FAVOURITE thing this year. that song just makes everyone so emotional, even if you don't understand a single word of korean, he conveys the emotions SO well that it gets everybody. so powerful. it's crazy.

2025-08-13 17:21:59 +0000 UTCcan i just say...i was at jinki's concert in seoul and animals in particular was fucking incredible, my favorite performance. his energy was just off the charts. actually the entire concert was amazing and if you want to watch it i can send the link! it would be really fun to see you watch his concert. i really hope he does a US stop for his world tour. silky...lmao pretty much about his bed. man can sleep up to 12 hours when he doesnt have a schedule. relatable. my top 2 are definitely far away and happy birthday! happy birthday is just such a special song to me. and far away because of the 90s rock vibes. percent the album is about how one can be at different percentages in life and how the songs reflect that. and yes the way he experiments with his voice truly makes him one of a kind, like the way he sings the way music should be sung! a lot of people said this topped circle as their favorite and i agree. definitely my favorite onew album...for now because he just lives at the studio at this point. he's going to release a japanese album around september. all of the things you said about jinki at the end...how he changed your life, how much his music means to you is exactly how jjinggus feel, and im glad he is able to touch you so deeply. this would make jinki cry too, knowing this 🩵 oh he released the behind recording so i think that would be interesting for you! https://youtu.be/HdJjp2yUFos?si=tTeHmU8b2_33DfBC
