So… I know this 2011 remake managed to conclude the story with the next arc as if the story ended, despite there being more story to tell in the manga, but they had to do that, because the mangaka takes breaks and the currently final arc is unfinished. Is that correct? Like the “end” here is not anime-only, it is still according to the manga and they just used that moment to cut the story and leave it open for any future continuation. I hope my words make sense! If so… is there any chance of this anime actually coming to its true end? Like… I am asking a question to those ones, who are on the on-going in the manga, is the story there reaching to its end? Or it might continue for whatever amount of time, so unless the managaka decides to finally end it, there is no good reason to continue this anime? Because as far as I know the next/“final” arc of this 2011 remake covers manga chapters up to 339, where the same arc ends, but then manga continues until these days, where we are currently at the chapter 410… I am asking this, because… well… just in general to make it clear if I should wait or switch to the manga, because based on a few random pages I assume FUCKING KURAPIKA IS COMING BACK, but the fact that the 410th chapter was released in December 2024 and that was it makes me feel hopeless. And also to help PD make sort of plan for anime club. Like… if there are any rumours the anime could start to continue soon, then there is no need to replace it after we finish the sixth season here. Or if the anime continues in the modern form of having short 12-ish episodes and then leaving us wait for more chapters to be adapted into anime, then we can replace this anime and have Hunter x Hunter as a “bonus series” (something like Dan Da Dan joined the line up for a moment and then was not replaced by anything)

NOTHING can prepare anyone for everything that happens in this arc. i am SO EXCITED. everytime ikalgo appears on my screen, i smile. thank you killua for having his back 😔✊ pouf's inner monologue was actually so hilarious 😭 i reckon pitou was feeling a smidgen of what he was feeling---surprise/devastation at the realization of how much the King has come to care for a 'lowly human'---and that was why they were crying. and somebody's already mentioned this, but zeno and the chairman were shocked more so because of the King and not Pitou. they lowered their guard for a mere moment, but it was enough for the King to walk past them with ease. had the King wanted to kill both of them in that split second, he would've succeeded 😬

2025-07-20 05:36:22 +0000 UTCDouble episodes might become a regular 😅 now that we’re in this section of the arc there is going to be a lot of repeating previous scenes that kind of eats up the episodes, it’s good if you take a break and need a recap but if it’s only been a week or binging like I was it made me want to skip the repeating
