It had to grow on me, but it did. The country/blues rock (?) part threw me off so much the first listen, lol. Someone compared it to George Michael's "Faith" and I get that some. "Faith" also had to grow on me when I heard it on the radio. It is one of those undeniable earworm songs because it's so catchy, hence why I ended up liking it in the end. Nevermind that it's RIIZE.
And speaking of timeless music: from how much I listened to RIIZE's "9 Days", I think the music the production used was similar to Ace of Base's "Beautiful Life". Not the entire part of the song, but it was very much inspired by it (coming from someone who grew up around and heavily ingested 90's dance music). I only figured that out recently, so felt like it was the best time to post it here since it's about RIIZE.
