He's born with the instinct of an animal; that's why he's full of bloodshed and aggression. He, like all other children, then began to absorb knowledge from their surroundings. There's that saying that children can sometimes be very cruel, some because they didn't know better, others because they became that way due to their environment. However, as the human gene was integrated into the ant colony and the king (the most perfect evolution of the entire species), it also inherited many human qualities that are slowly emerging. He's beginning to separate his instinct from thoughts and rationale. That's why he's starting to question himself, he's going through his teenage phase!! That's when we all have existential crises hahaha. Through Komugi, he's starting to learn that there is something called affection. King x Komugi <3 I will hop onto this ship till the end of time. Looking forward to more of their development~
