Some backstory regarding fromis_9's move to ASND: Jiwon had a big hand in convincing the 3 youngest members (Chaeyoung, Nagyung, and Jiheon) to continue as group (See Chaeyoung & Jiwon's Hometown EP for Cheil World on YT). The 5 of them decided to push through with their careers as a group (See Studio fromis_9's 1st EP) and joined a brand new company, ASND. However, Jiwon said that they still miss the members that chose not to continue anymore (See fromis_9's EP on KStar Next Door Show). ASND was so new that they had only registered and created social media channels a few days after confirming fromis_9's signing. Nobody even knew who exactly the CEO was. There were a lot of uncertainty and fear from flovers regarding the move, but ASND slowly but surely proved that they completely supported fromis_9 during the lead up to this comeback. Hopefully, ASND will continue to give fromis_9 the freedom to express their artistic and musical brilliance.
