It’s just shocking to me how IZNA is heavily underutilizing Saebi. She’s such a great performer and has every potential to be the IT girl, but her IZNA parts just don’t give her the moment :(

1. Looking at how Teddy produced music throughout the years for different girl groups, I would say the style that he applies to ggs is mostly "rich, modern, chic, confident, sassy, my-way" girl energy. While YG is deeply rooted in hip-hop, being more raw, badass and don't-give-a-f* type of energy.
2. Of course IZNA is not 100% a TBL group because they are formed under the cooperation of The Black and WakeOne. Therefore, not only do they need to bring out the TBL sauce, but they also need to portray the WO's style well. My impression on the image that WO applies to their idols is a "classy, elegant, glorious" vibe.
Personally, IZNA displays an excellent balance for both styles. Vocalists-wise, Ji-yoon is definitely the one holding TBL essence of the group, while Jung-eun represents WO, although her sharp visual kinda conflicts with the company's image, it's Sae-bi and Sa-rang who looks more like a WO's daughter. Sa-rang is surprisingly a very-well balanced member, with an absolutely innocent visual and singing style along with her natural husky tone and strong movements. Koko definitely leans more towards TBL style. While Sae-bi is heavily WO-coded, this girl is a very good actor on stage and can adapt well to a wide range of concepts. Jee-min and Mai are less transparent in this aspect, but I think we can agree that they did a great job representing both concepts so far.
By the way, I disagree that Jee-min doesn't have a wild side to her. Her performance in the next episode proved that (I don't want to spoil too much for PD lol). If I have to compare her with Fuko, well I can't really picture how Fuko could nail that performance the way Jee-min did.
3. The case of Su-jung was quite regrettable, but to me it was not to the extent of a cancellation. She simply lost the support and trust of the public. It's not like her future in the entertainment industry is gone, it's just that the gate to debut with IZNA was completely closed to her. That's how life is. Some situations don't give you a second chance to fix your mistake. Once you miss the opportunity, it's gone forever. I think it's also a wake-up call for her that becoming an idol is not suitable with her personality and mindset, at least at the current moment.

Interesting statement regarding the comparison of YG and The Black Label…
I cannot say I disagree. There is definitely the connection between them through Teddy.
But at the same time nowadays Teddy is not the 1TYM Teddy, therefore I don’t see that strong hip hop influence in The Black Label acts as in YG Ent.
To be fair it is still too soon to tell something specific about The Black Label, but so far the standing out factor of The Black Label seems to be that their artists are either Korean Americans or Koreans fluent in English 😅😅
Anyway… the thing with this Black Made Test is… I don’t know…
I get the idea behind that, but if we take izna and MEOVV, I wouldn’t say they are similar to each other as if izna could have been The Black Label group instead of MEOVV.
By the way… this whole thing of “Is izna under The Black Label or not?” reminded me to tell you not to get confused in the final episode, when Somi joins Han Bin and after the final line up is announced, she says: “Welcome to The Black Label” (because she did not know anything about the show or the plans for this group) and it was funny, because it happened at the moment, when MEOVV were going to happen soon, so people were like: “No, Somi… this is not the upcoming The Black Label girl group 😅😅”
Anyway… by this I wanted to say I can imagine Fuko being in izna, because to be fair… even if we say izna kind of might have the YG factor you pointed out, I wouldn’t say all izna members have that (for example Saebi).
Sure, Saebi is playful on the stage, but being playful is not the only thing which makes YG YG.
Hmm… wait a moment… you said more about what you view as the “YG sauce” (that YG artist don’t really feel like manufactured idols)… huh… alright… I agree with that even when it comes to The Black Label.
But then I have another example… Jeemin does not fit this idea either and that is actually my “problem” with her and why I have hard time falling for her.
She gives the energy of “I am extra well trained”
I mean, I get your point about Fuko, but at the same time there are members in the group, who do not fit the description either, so I can still imagine her being in the group.
Also… YG Ent. will soon start to reveal members of their upcoming (most likely Japanese) girl group, so it would be funny if Fuko was in that group.
I mean funny in the regard that people want her to debut in every group, which is about to debut, but at the same time it would be extra funny for us here, because of your words in this video 😅😅
I did not know you don’t like I Am The Best, but I knew you would not like Sujung’s delivery here.
I personally did not mind her mimicking CL, but I agree with your opinion about covers.
Now the Sujung thing…
Yeah, she basically got cancelled because of that and I get why people might have stopped supporting her, but I mind when someone gets cancelled for good just because of one mistake.
During watching this show I started to pay attention to the team work way more than before, so it definitely made me question, whether she is a good team player.
The thing is she comes from the dance scene, where you have to be cut-throat and she forgot to change her mindset for this competition.
I do not know if there is more to say to that.
She definitely did a wrong move. But not like she would bully anyone or something. Basically this whole thing could have been solved by something like: “I am sorry. What I said was dumb”
I just don’t like, when somebody is so easily cancelled. I mean in general. These days people cancel someone so quickly as if they have never done anything slightly wrong…
It is not like this was something she couldn’t learn from it… and I do not want to spoil anything, but she kind of realized her mistake and decided to help another contestant to gain supporters, since she knew she was done.
By the way throughout the whole Part 2 my votes were like this:
First option: Sujung, Second option: Yuju, Third option rotated between Juwon, Koko and Gyuri (like every day the third option changed, so by the end of this cycle all three of them got my third option split equally)

I wasn’t a fan of sujung’s mindset either although I understand it’s a competition so I can’t blame her. The fact she said it about mai though…made it even worse because of Mai’s work ethic, she is honest about her shortcomings and makes the most of it, seeing the other girls sitting around talking about her struggling felt unfair because if anything she is to be admired not laughed at.
I love how much of a singer jiyoon is like her brutal honesty to Mai (who can willingly take it on board without offense) and how she couldn’t watch a teammate struggle with vocals and then she was so proud to have shaped Mai’s improvement, this ep was huge for jiyoon~~

I wonder if they watched / were allowed to watch the part 1 episodes, because Jiyoon's attitude changed so much that I wonder if she saw how she came across and wanted to fix that. I really loved her in this episode. I feel really bad for Jongeun. She's been my favourite since the first episode and I also think they are holding her to too high standards. And I don't know what was going on in the live audience, but for her to be second to last (and not by only a few votes) is insane to me.
