I'm sure people are drawn to just the spectacle of it all. Seeing someone eat extreme amounts of delicious looking food is its own form of entertainment, or maybe some type of escapism for people who can't eat the way these youtubers do. Poor Haewon having to go through it and not eat a single thing is brutal, glad she was still having fun though.

2025-05-14 06:08:37 +0000 UTCI never really understood the fascination around mukbang either, although following kpop made it much easier to see the appeal of food being involved in content, since it's so frequently done by any kpop group/artist. I think next episode will be the infamous stewardess episode which went viral, really excited for that one.
