You appreciate the nuance and the meaning and the emotions. This is why I subscribe. I hope you’ll watch the MV to Blue. I think you’ll find it interesting, both as a filmmaker and a music lover. People have said it references the 2017 American horror film, Mother, with Jennifer Lawrence.

2025-04-23 15:09:05 +0000 UTCThe craziest part of Onew's musical journey is how much he's improved vocally since Voice. He said he didn't sing much while he was on hiatus last year, and currently I'm not even sure if he has a vocal coach. Maybe it's just all down to confidence...and leaving SM. Him and Teamin, leaving SM, have allowed them both to spread their wings instead of just doing the "same old, same old" (which is still incredible). SHINee taught me to love ballads - in kpop, anyway! As for Voice...while I adore Blue, I find the rest of it a bit...samey. It would be interesting to see him revisit Voice, see what changes he would make. Still a beautiful album, but not my favorite.

I hope you will watch Blue MV it has so much more symbolism Since he is holding concerts In USA I hope you will be able to listen to his voice in real time

Please watch the Blue music video that is amazing. Can’t wait to see your reaction to the Dice EP next month 🥰

2025-03-26 16:54:00 +0000 UTCFinally What I'm waiting forrrrrrrrrr o(*￣▽￣*)o Well, Onew released this EP before his military, he didn't promote it anywhere. it's kind like just a gift for his fans before his service. Only Blue has an MV, but I think if you interest in any Live version of the songs, you can search and find an actual result for most of it in a full song live except Blue lol (Well, he finally sang it in Onew: The Live) He sang Under The Starlight & Shine On You in «Korea on stage» (he sang 3 songs, the other one is from DICE if I'm not mistaken), Sign in «The Ringtone : SHINee is Back», Your Scent in «it's Live» and on an 2024 Award Ceremony in Singapore (I think this is his first appearance after long hiatus, his voice isn't truly in shape yet), Timepiece in one of his birthday live, illusion has only fancam from his O-NEW-NOTE concert. Thank you for your clip PD, I'm really enjoy it. AND welcome you to Onew & SHINee's rabbit hole, they really are versatile group and of course individually lol PS. If I remember correctly about Shine On You, it's an only song that confirmed that Onew wrote it for Jonghyun.

2025-03-26 16:53:09 +0000 UTCAt this point I'm super addicted to your SHINee reactions - in a way it's like reliving my own journey into becoming a Shawol, so I truly can't wait to see more reactions, both for Onew's Dice album, and many others, especially their group music (and yes, Shinee World III, 2014 Tokyo Dome, IV and V are a must and I would even say that you should see those concerts before listening to any SHINee albums, if you were going to). Also, I hope you'll go to one of Jinki's USA concerts in April - ticketing was a bloodbath, but hopefully you can get one since he is visiting multiple cities. 2025-03-26 16:17:07 +0000 UTCThere’s a running gag with Onew forgetting his SM-era lyrics, so he may agree with you over the ‘too much’ lyrics lol. I think when you reacted to Circle, you categorized Onew as the ballad-singer, which is what I think SM was labeling Onew at the time too. He did not promote Blue or Voice in music shows. He actually released this EP right before joining the military, so it was a bit of a farewell gift to fans. Not sure how much of a tight deadline he had before leaving, so I can only guess on how much creative freedom he had in choosing his songs for this EP, if any. DICE is where Onew started spreading his wings. Excited for you to hear it. :) Please check out the MV for DICE when you do! Blue also has an MV if you’re interested.
