sadly no full album this year :( In December YG did promise us a full album in August, but now it has been changed to a mini album in September :( I hope it's at least 5 songs though, so they can have big changes in their setlist for the world tour

2025-03-26 12:06:21 +0000 UTCTo make it clear for you regarding the full length album plans: Yang Hyun Suk in the beginning of summer 2024 made the usual announcement video mentioning King Kong being a pre-release to the upcoming full length album scheduled to be released in fall 2024. But that did not happen and it makes me wonder what actually happened with that, because it was not postponed (officially/it is hard to say right now)… In another video in December 2024 he said they would be releasing this special mini album with Last Night serving as a pre-release to that and later on (July - August 2025) they are going to release their third full length album, but it was not mentioned like: “That is the album”, but more like as if nothing had been announced already… Considering the vibe of this special mini album being different than King Kong’s style and also all these songs being kind of promotional songs as you said, I think none of this here was meant to be in the original full length album and they decided to release this to remind the scene of themselves. Plus it also explains why King Kong is not included here… because it obviously was not meant to be released with King Kong/King Kong was not meant to be released with this. I am just curious if they changed their plans and everything/anything prepared for the original album was thrown away and to buy some time they released this and the upcoming full length album will be something completely different. Or if they just wanted to have way more time on it, so they unofficially postponed it and it will get to be released eventually (with King Kong too!). I guess I am getting way too much to details, but I enjoyed King Kong a fucking lot and I hoped for an album with this tone. And also I do not want King Kong to be forever left out as the digital single… (Small side note: by the end you said Yang Hyun Suk said they would be coming back with whole new sound for them. He did say that, but that was just to describe this comeback)

If you're able to, you should check out the dance practice and live performances for it. I think the choreo and the boys' energy on stage just brings the song to life even more ✨
