Goddd where else have I heard this sample in kpop? I'm thinking of Hyuna Ice Ice (ft. Ji Dam Yook) where she's referencing the lyrics of green light red light as well, but I can't shake the feeling I've heard this again T_T Help meee I'm going crazy EDIT: OH MY GOD I GOT IT! It was so obvious too😭 It's from Mansae! The start of the 2nd verse is SO SO similar (and obviously referencing the same nursery rhyme). God it's been haunting me for days now

2025-03-15 05:22:20 +0000 UTCyou are definitely right with the green light red light melody reference. woozi says they wanted to use a melody that was very well known by others so they chose the red light green light and compared how its the same melody with the coca cola ad song. they mentioned this during the comeback live they did with Na PD which i highly suggest you to watch (even on your own free time) since they talked a lot about the album there

2025-03-15 03:52:47 +0000 UTCThis definitely could have been a SVT Leaders song and because of that I think the only reason for not having S.Coups here/not making it a SVT Leaders song is because S.Coups does not have to enlist and they might have decided to be enlisting in pairs (like those two members enlisting soon after each other as in the case of JeongHan & WonWoo). Which makes me wonder… are we going to get DKxSeungKwan unit? And then the last unit would be Mingyu and Dino or they don’t have to make Hoshi-less BSS as they did S.Coups-less SVT Leaders here and mix those four members in another way. Now I have realized there is a possibility for duet of Joshua and Vernon + The8 and Jun or taking both pairs and add S.Coups there to make them 5 🤔🤔
