matthew’s raps on this album are NASTY and if ur interested, him and gunwook did the ost for the drama study group (song is called backpacker) and GOD DAMN is it disgusting. i think you’d enjoy it. imo the raps from matt on it r the best we’ve heard from him

2025-03-13 01:11:51 +0000 UTCI agree about wishing they had a tighter vision, it's my major complaint about YHMAH and Cinema Paradise. I honestly think the lack of musical identity thing goes back to Crush (which I ENJOY) being the first comeback and completely overshadowing every other track on Melting Point. Including Melting Point and Take My Hand, which I would personally say encapsulate ZB1's early sound. To an extent it's still an issue with Blue Paradise. Blue (and maybe Doctor Doctor) is the only song that actually feels "blue" on this album. Everything else is so dark and intense and red. I love them so so much but I want one album where everything is cohesive and intentional and the members are involved in a capacity I know they have the talent to be.

2025-03-12 20:03:42 +0000 UTCI agree that this is my favourite EP/album that they’ve released so far, like with Youth in the Shade I love every song, except like you said, since we have the unit songs all the members really get to shine in a way they haven’t before on previous albums I think. Definitely been on constant repeat for me haha
