Based on my notes, from when I watched that on my own, these were my picks purely based on these performances (although I do not remember if I included the Final Love Song performance too): Kim Sujung, Ryu Sarang and Yoon Jiyoon. And actually... now rewatching it with you, I realized the waacking performance is formed of my later on picks. I just do not remember, who Nana was, but if she was replaced with Jiyoon or another strong vocalist, I can imagine this formation being truly epic! 5:50 - That is Son JuWon, I got to like her later on 8:06 - I believe that is Kim ChaeEun Your question about the rights of HYBE to I-Land... I-Land was created to debut ENHYPEN under Belift Lab, which was originally created as a joint venture between HYBE HQ and CJ ENM/Mnet. So when there was announced a girl group under Belift Lab would debut through I-Land 2, it was meant to be Illit. BUT! HYBE bought shares of CJ ENM to own Belift Lab 100% to have ENHYPEN fully under them. But they did not keep I-Land 2 as the brand, which stayed to CJ ENM/Mnet. So then when Mnet announced I-Land 2 was happening, it was confusing, because people thought at first it would be a sister group to ENHYPEN, but that was not the case. Mnet (or their Kpop label Wake One) just decided to have their pernament girl group. And Belift Lab announced their own survival show R U Next? to create Illit. The thing you said of them looking for the next BLACKPINK... well, that is pretty much the reason why they teamed up with Teddy/The Black Label. To get BLACKPINK fans interested and to label it: "Teddy worked on this". That was also a big thing that confused many people even until now it still does... people thought this group would be under both The Black Label and Wake One, but that is not that case. They just agreed Teddy/The Black Label producers will work on their music until their (izna) contract renewal, so seven years. Also... I do enjoy Final Love Song! It is not something new, but it fits the vibe perfectly!

You will have the same experience I had and I think its better that way. I dont think I could have handled this live every week. Dont get to attached to the others :'(

In all honesty tho.....with almost all these current idols, once you take off all the makeup they all basically just look like a little kids korean classroom. Makeup has gotten SO GOOD in korea. A lot of western/non-kpop peeps automatically assume PS but I think it actually happens FAR less frequently then people assume (outside of ssangappeul) given how amazing these hair and makeup artists have gotten

The choice to basically put a dance beat behind basically the entire Final Countdown song was......a choice

I appreciate that it was a different take to the usual Signal Song sound (which I do also like), but I think I personally would have preferred an entirely original song. The only other girl crush style signal song that comes to mind is Same Same Different from My Teenage Girl - that one to me is an All Time Banger, never to be topped 😆

They still have Enhypen on mnet programs, but there was a clear treatment change after they sold their shares to hybe. Like excluding them from MAMA behinds when they uploaded every other artist only excluding them. So its sad to see. Also lol iland season 1 was truly traumatic for everyone. Enhypen dont even like bringing it up or want engenes to watch it hahaha. Thankfully though, this season was no where near as sad! Im really excited for you to watch this as IZNA has become a group I'm really excited for. I guess my ult groups are iland groups lol

Her slogan is "마치 된 것 같아 손주원" (for people who can't read hangul, it says "Feels like I've turned into Son Juwon", which is basically the same as the drop for Seventeen's Super "마치 된 것 같아 손오공"). This just made her my favourite on the show

I was rooting for her so much, thank god she will be debuting soon with some of the girls from I-Land as I said in the comment above. I hope you get to react to their debut once the date is announced since the group was only announced February 25.
