seriously, this single music video was what showed me that 2025 was going to be a great year for kpop music and MVs

2025-05-14 01:57:14 +0000 UTCalthough in korean, zen is 선 (seon)— as a concept— if you say zen with hangul, it will probably come out as 젠, due to there being no Z in hangul. i think this is to mean that jennie IS zen, hence why she says "zen, presents" basically meaning "jennie presents". she is not only enlightened, but she is enlightenment itself, and what others spend years trying to achieve. i think this is to show her own uniqueness, that she IS jennie and she cannot be replaced, as well as sitting down as her own entity. the force of nature is incredibly apt, her "zen" being powerful enough to make movements and stop rain. i think this is a great song to have paired with the album release, as this can be seen as a JEN song, alongside the RUBY album ❤️
