It's like a message for us from the writers, Yi Chan is this confident and eccentric performer on stage but you can tell it's not actually "him" (as in his voice". In contract, that practice room scene is Yi Chan's actual voice and only Cheong Ah is able to witness it, and it kind of nods to the idea Yi Chan is comfortable enough to show his true, vulnerable self around her. PD, keep that message in mind as you're watching the rest of the drama. Little spoiler but this isn't the only time they do this.

2025-01-26 00:55:30 +0000 UTCSuch a beautiful episode and in my opinion, this is the episode that made the differences between Lee Chan's love for Chung Ha vs his "love" for Se kyung so crystal clear. Lee Chan's efforts to impress Se kyung were always akin to a school boy crush. He haphazardly started a band and did silly little things just to get her attention. On the other hand, he learned an entirely new language just so he could talk, understand, and sing to Chung Ha. He defended her from further harassment and spoke up for her when she couldn't. He's still the same goofy fun-loving guy but his love for Chung ha makes him want to be a stronger and more mature version of himself. A desire he just didn't seem to have when it came to his "love" for Se kyung
