Genuine question, because that sounds like something that they could tackle easily. Want to also point out that “meant to be idol” is nothing she can do anything about, that is just how producers work. This is the same thing with people like Wonyoung, Ahyeon, IU, Bae Jinyoung, Sung Hanbin and many more. They are/have all become really good idols, but they also have the “idol look” which Wonhee also has

2025-01-20 22:24:56 +0000 UTCWow, chill down, I do not blame Wonhee for anything. I blame HYBE for the fact that they are not using the full potential of the members. Besides that, they can do anything and I’m not saying they shouldn’t, but I think they would benifit a lot from a group that does what they are best at. And I feel like 4/5 members are better at stronger concepts than cute concepts. If I were to choose members for a group, I would choose either members who are on the cuter side or members that are more mature looking. Just because that makes more of a appealing visual (not saying they aren’t visuals, just the visual of the group). I feel like Yunah for exempel doesn’t fit into the concept that much (no hate intended, just an opinion). Also, in the future, maybe they will switch to more mature concepts anyway like TWICE did. I want to really point out again I have no hate towards anyone in ILLIT, these are just my thoughts.

ILLIT group name means they can do anything, and if they did girl crush, they wouldn't be standing out and would be just like any other 5th-generation group that debuted. People keep trying to box members into one concept, and it's not fair. They should be looked at as being versatile and can do any concept they get. They aren't even as cute as people try to push, but they are more quirky than anything else. Heck, Wonhee can't even be cute and hates being called cute. It's hard for her.

But ever since this performance (not sure if this was the sole reason) Drip has been steadily climbing on Melon - from the 60th back then to 17 now. Really loved the NewJeans performance, too. 2025-01-20 20:10:39 +0000 UTCboynextdoor's performance brought me so much joy!!!!!! such a unique concept to rizz the santa LMFAO so funny and cute! i was very bothered by the spilled popcorn tho, my OCD LOL! so fun tho ahahah yeonjun's performance was ICONIC! first of all i love the grinch-like concept where he tears ornaments and destroys the gift box, while his outfit looks like he is the wrapped up present himself LOL like "yeah screw all other presents, im your best one, watch this" lol i loved it! the dance break was insane, and i think the camera direction was great because yeonjun is so good with facial expressions its actually super beneficial to keep the close up focus on him all the time for the greater impact. i also think the 1 take idea really brought in that engagement from us as the audience and kept us glued to the screen. when there is a cut i think we all unconsciously lean back and reset a bit, so when there is not a single one, and charismatic yeonjun is right in your face all the time, it makes the experience super enhanced lol! this performance was my fav of all tbh!!! i lov efficiency like that, when a performance might be cut short or be short itself but super impactful hehe i agree with your thoughts about yeonjun not being of the same genre (?) as taemin as a singer, but also being as commanding and eye captivating as him in his performances i will always have special place in my heart for Doyoung and his effortless looking actually complicated in their technique vocals. he also is such a sweetheart, seeing him perform is like gulping a teaspoon of honey <3 yet another STUNNING UNIQUE AND ICONIC performance from LE SSERAFIM!!! this one left me in such awe i had to stay silent for a bit after and process what I just watched. its crazy how during this performance i kept thinking "ok they must be tired already so maybe they will get a little breather or something" but it just kept going and going and going and i MYSELF got exhausted just from watching them (but like in a good way exhausted ofc) hahahah its was spectacular. another thing i want to point out: everytime le sserafim performs, i always notice their backup dancer because they slay SO HARD its a crime not to point out their skill and presence!! such a powerful and groundbreaking stage!!
