Help us choose the next Homebrew Workshop!

Greetings Patrons!

Last December, we hosted our first Homebrew Design Workshop (you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/YwGROfa5rfc). This turned out to be extremely well-received by the community, and so we've decided to continue this format for our future monthly Q&A's for the next few months.

Since we'd be asking you -- our Patrons -- to submit your creations for these workshops, we'd love to know what you have in store.

Cheers

Kelly and Monty

Some updated literature recommendations for "brain food" for inspiration. I know some H. P. Lovecraft is a "must have." Where do you find inspiration for basic city adventures? Market encounters, tavern adventures, and basic town exploration? How to keep these encounters from being anything but "basic."

I would love to see advice on how to homebrew & run horror content. Y'all are really good at it, and I've been struggling with presentation for some time. Specifically, I would love advice on how to write and present existential & cosmic horror into my homebrew content.

Just you two talking is good. I don't get so much out of other guests. All the topics are valid. I would not mind a review of best map making tools, possibly split better fast simple maps and best programs for huge complex maps. And best game/world/campaign organizational tools (because I'm too lazy to look at them all). Your book writing mat be a plus there.

Same here! I post a video a week on YouTube revealing my subclasses. I just started so I don't have much atm but I'm working on it.

I'd love to see some subclasses. I've been posting my own Subclass videos on YouTube for the past three weeks now. It's something I absolutely love.

Sigh, was looking forward to getting the Dudes to look at my home brew subclass. Looks like that won’t be happening anytime soon.

It looks like I won't be able to submit my homebrew class anytime soon 😢

All of it would rock but Feats would be very timely for my game.

We have half elf and half orc, but what about the other half? Are we to assume humans are the only race capable of cross breeding. I'd like to see a mechanic for creating hybrid races, something more than just using Tasha's custom origin to give my half-orc more elf qualities. This could even work with the Warforged, but instead of mixed parents, it would just be created in the form of another race. I'd love to have the option to play a Warforged Centaur!

Our group loves 3rd party spells. We use Kobold Press's Deep Magic. If you can review those spells that'd be AWESOME!

I’m not great at home brewing but I’d love to get your guys thoughts on playing a none traditional race/class combo that you’ve had work for you? I’ve been playing a Lizardfolk Wizard and the natural armor has been really nice and kind of lets me skip mage armor and shield.
