2025-01-06 19:44:17 +0000 UTCi (like everyone else) have been waiting for this debut for SO long. i watched LOUD with you, and i can't wait to experience their debut after all these years!! very very excited with the potential this group has. i'm hoping that they allow the boys some type of producing/lyrical freedom like they had in LOUD. it'd be very cool to see how their craft has been honed the past 4 years!! :)

2025-01-06 19:33:44 +0000 UTCI will be completely honest… Since this was at first announced to be a debut song, I was disappointed, because this did not feel like the thing we had been waiting for for so long, but apparently it is a pre-release after all and… okay, I am still open to see more, but to be honest big role in it plays the factor of me watching LOUD and knowing them (half of them) so good. By that I am trying to say I am not sure whether it is something that would make “non-LOUD interested people” check them out more. In general, them being postponed to debut so many times, them being the group coming after STRAY KIDS, it all feels underwhelming. I cannot even say if Yoon Min’s absence is a problem. (Yoon Min being pretty much the Bang Chan of this group, being the producer & composer, lyricist, choreographer and also being able to be all main rapper, vocal and dancer). And I cannot tell that not because everybody amazed me, but because only Amaru caught my attention with having the longest rap part, despite him most likely being the main vocalist. The rest has most of the time that “talk singing” and I have no clue what purpose and what role will those 3 new members have (besides making the group bigger). I hope I don’t sound like their hater, I just have my standard for them high, because of that much time of preparation for this group JYP took (+ the factor of having members ready to debut). Also… to make it clear, I don’t mind those 3 new members… at this point it was more like: “New JYP group with members, who were in LOUD” rather than: “The LOUD group”. I am actually highly interested in this group, because my whole life I have always been really a casual listener of JYP’s acts (before getting into Stray Kids like a year after their career, Wonder Girls was pretty much the only group I would listen to more regularly) and then with LOUD this became my first JYP group I paid attention to right from the very beginning. So me waiting for so long make my standards for them high and it also makes me curious what was the reason, because I hope it wasn’t just J.Y. Park thinking: “Ah… I fucked up with the elimination of members in LOUD, so I have to add more members now + Stray Kids started to get VERY POPULAR, let’s go the “BTS way” and have them as the only group for now”

But I don't blame you, he was like 14 on the show so obviously puberty got to him lol And now he's about to turn EIGHTEEN in March, holy shit! As much as I hate how long JYPE took to debut them, in the end I'm glad they waited until the youngest members were older.

2025-01-06 14:39:47 +0000 UTCi'm SO STOKED for their debut!! i watched loud together with you on this patreon back in 2021 and they're finally debuting :') all of the loud boys grew up so much, and the 3 new members fit in so well. fun fact: all of the 3 new members (minje, donghwa and juwang) are the same age as keiju (born in 2006)! also, the youngest whose name you forgot about from loud is donghyeon. during loud, my favourites in the show were kyehoon and amaru and i'm just so so excited to see them as idols!! amaru really killed both his vocal and rap sections in this song sonically this song reminds me of tws' oh my my but with a pinch of that rascal energy you talked about?? i wouldnt know for sure until more music is put out but they do feel like got7 but with that 5th gen twist added to it. they're a group with SO MUCH potential and i think they could go very far in this industry. i can't wait for jan 20 to come so i can listen to their debut album ahhhh
