Really appreciated your insights and the comfort of not feeling like I’m watching this by myself. I’m not Korean, and so I really enjoy when you add context and corrections to the subtitles, also your personal insights are really valuable to me. 2024-12-17 23:09:22 +0000 UTCSeeing you legit stressed out over whether Hyun Woo was gonna make it or not was my exact emotional state throughout this entire episode. The scene with the puzzle piece is a call back to the beginning of the series where Hae In’s dad had trouble finding the last piece. Now with his entire family all together, he’s able to find it and complete the puzzle. I was the tiniest bit disappointed that they never touched more on what happened during the miscarriage. But I understand they probably wanted to focus more on how it affected their relationship to emphasize that it was neither Hyun Woo or Hae In’s fault, as opposed to the events of what actually happened. But what a journey this was. Enjoyed rewatching this amazing show with you PD, through all the laughter, tears of sadness, and anger, I’m glad you stuck till the end and enjoyed it as much as a lot of us did. Can’t wait to see what other dramas you’ll be watching in the future. Also not sure if you’re aware of it yet, but the actor who played Eun Sung is actually also starring in Squid Game 2. He’s playing a transgender woman I believe, so I’m excited to see how that character develops. Lord knows we know he’s good as playing psychopaths as seen in The Glory and this show.

And i love how it felt like watching a drama at the same time with a friend and then discussing all the things u loved. I cried sm this entire episode even throughout the moh seulhee and yoon eunsung plot line (tbh i always felt bad for eunsung bcus i feel like his troubled past of not being able to be with his mother manifested itself as an obsession of wanting to be with haein, ofc his actions are never justified and frankly he traumatised me). My heart broke at the scene where the child eunsung was running after the car calling out to his mother. And i found it so disgusting that moh seulhee legally claimed him as her son ONLY after he died and was of use to her cus she could inherit his shares of the queens group. Idk what i will do now tht this drama is finished 😂

Also fun fact, the ost playing in the last scene is sung by kim soohyun. The ost album was one of the albums I listened to the most this year. I enjoyed rewatching the drama with you, thank you.
