when you first watched the first and second episodes of RTK had you realized Kyungmin from 8Turn was in I-Land? You mentioned that 3 former I-land contestants are on this show which are Geonu, Hanbin, and Kyungmin (would be 4 if Siwoo [used to be Jimin/JM] wasn’t on hiatus), am I potentially missing somebody else?

2024-12-15 23:07:49 +0000 UTCHaving seen Oneus in concert finally, I can say Seoho definitely has that stage power and he could be the a.c.e IF Hwanwoong wasn't such an insane ace compared to anyone! I was so surprised by all of them actually. Seohos stage presence is blinding to say the least! It's just that he's shy most of the time and I wish he would see himself like I do. I cant believe I got to see that version of NO Diggity at their concert! They turned it into a freaking rave at the end of the song it was one of the most insane moments of my life, Leedo did that deep voice live! Also Seohos vocal round in that separate video for vocals was the best one besides Woobin from Cravity! You NEED to watch it please! Overall TheCrew One was also last for me. Even though I LOVE HP it's one of my first loves and helped me get through highschool, I did not enjoy their stage. It was not memorable and seemed all over the place. Also if your gonna have blond hair, wear the Slytherin jacket just sayin iyky 🐍🖤💚 I really liked Tempest second half way more than the first. The creepy bunny masks were not it 🙅♀️ That really felt like a festival stage and made me wanna learn more about them. I was so surprised at The New Six, I did not think it was fair to have him battle TWO aces from thecrewone.

2024-12-15 13:14:01 +0000 UTCYES I WANT KOKI TO DEBUT AS WELLL. I was always worried about him throughout LOUD and frankly, if age was gonna be the reason he wouldn’t be able to debut DESPITE WINNING, why was he allowed to participate and go through tht intense experience? Idk tht just felt rlly stupid to me

2024-12-15 10:49:52 +0000 UTCI decided to keep my feedback to the rest of this episode separated... Hmm... when it comes to The Crew One I cannot help myself... like... do the labels even talk to each other? It feels like they agreed to put their groups together and then they just let those boys to come up with something and that is it. I get the idea, I think idea has a potential and there is a way to make it really good, but many many things would have had to be done differently... And then with the rest... it just seems like the A&R teams for most of the groups are on a vacation or I do not know... I mean, aren't Kpop groups heavily built around an identity?? If we compare it with western groups, where it is not about concepts (or at least not to this level), where in most of the cases it is about putting bunch of people matching together vocally and visually and providing them "trendy music" and that is pretty much it... (by the way... I am a big fan of One Direction, Big Time Rush, CNCO and I might have thought of more if I took a minute to think about it more, so nothing against western groups from my side...). I would say because of this, an indentity mission should be easy peasy lemon squeezy thing for a Kpop group/their production team. But apparently most of the production teams think: "Their identity is everything, everywhere all at once" and not in the fucking epic way as if somebody tried to make the movie their concept, but more like: "Huh... indentity, what is that?" Funny thing is that last time I mentioned that P Nation most likely does not know how to handle a Kpop group and they do not have a proper vision for TNX, but at least they knew what is their identity. The thing is they just somehow do not know how to live up to its potential... Therefore besides TNX and Cravity, which I appreciated last time, I can give it only to ONEUS and in their case... The important thing about them is they truly know what it means to be an idol. I mentioned it somewhere before that idols are like "music actors". Sure, we have idols involved in the production, but that is not a condition, therefore we have plenty of great groups produced by their label and basically them being told what to do regarding their style for each comeback and everything and one of the aspects of their job is to be able to convey the idea/the concept to life. Like... as you said ATEEZ, they did not come to KQ Ent. with a plan/wish to create this whole vision for this group, but since they are perfect at what they do, they embody it to a top-notch level. The same goes with ONEUS and that is the reason they are so great with the Korean traditional concept. It is not like they themselves would be somehow deeply invested in Korean traditional things (like anyhow more than other Korean people), but them having the ability, which makes idols idols, helps them to embody it so perfectly. And they can obviously do this with various concepts. And they are so good at doing this and being able to do this many concepts to the level this good, that this crucial skill/aspect of being an idol has become the identity of theirs.

2024-12-15 04:50:07 +0000 UTCNow I can talk about KyungJun! Obviously we can't really tell how things exactly went, but there is a possibility KyungJun's departure was in talks prior to this, because... well... there is the big question if this is the right thing for him + considering TNX not doing really good, there comes another question whether he should not focus his life on something else. It is understandable that TNX members cried, but it might have been even more emotional for them, because they might have known KyungJun would be leaving after them loosing. Not that KyungJun would say: "I am going to leave if we do not win", but considering how PSY and P Nation felt about this show (PSY said: "This is a gift sent from heaven, a big opportunity for us", they even dedicated 4 videos of "What Makes me MOVE?" related to them joining this show, https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOvTYycww7TTc8iHluTkNFrmQtNNABMZv&si=Sb4vOPvPch51Y6Z8), it all makes me feel like they are highly aware their situation is not good and KyungJun's decision might have been known at least within the members. I mean it in the way of KyungJun thinking: "If this helps us to get more popular, I might reconsider my decision to help my team..." Personally, I do not think PSY does not care about them or that TNX is mismanaged by P Nation as people may say. As I said last time. Taking care of a Kpop group is brand new for both PSY and P Nation and as dumb as it may sound, they just do not know what to do. Plus the whole situation with JunHyeok did not help them at all... And the key thing I pointed out last time was the other artists not being only soloists, but also people, who are involved in their career's vision and they already have their personality (because obviously if you are a soloist, creating a personality for you/your stage persona is easier than for a whole group of more people). So to that the obvious solution would be: 1) Let EunHwi finally be way more involved: - This is the only thing I do not understand, because PSY really early on said he knows EunHwi will take care of the group later on in this regard and at first I thought they needed him to get better at dancing and singing, therefore they could not let him purely focus on the music production, but hey... it has been over 2 years of their career... 2) They should have kept the other members of Team P Nation: - I do not want to compare all of them again and I understand PSY being loyal and biased, but then… keep more members. Every member, who got eliminated, would have gotten better in the position/skill he was not as versatile as those 5 P Nation trainees and by now they would have been able to keep up with others + to all of that they would have pushed the group forward and that would have pushed the current members too. As Steve Jobs had this idea of gathering many creative people to one place and letting them rival each other, which led to progress happening way faster and them being motivated by each other. I do not want to sound rude, but besides JunHyeok, EunHwi does not have anyone in the group to fulfil this idea and to that we have to keep in mind for most of their career JunHyeok was not active that much… To be honest... as it is now, I truly do not know what the future of TNX might be. Obivously they will not disband (unless most of the members decide to leave, which I do not think is going to happen). Considering PSY's words in the after LOUD documentary we watched here with you in which he made the comparison to Native Americans and their rain dances, which have 100% success rate, because they dance until it actually starts to rain, I assume PSY will continue to support them, but unless they have a super viral comeback, I do not think something is going to change regarding P Nation's knowledge of taking care of a group within a short period of time. Also... this is super biased point of view, but... when the hell is P Nation going to debut their next boygroup, which was promised to Koki?? Obviously right with the announcement we knew it was just an announcement to say something besides: "He is not debuting now", but there was a hope the next boy group could be within 4-5 years, but considering TNX's situation, I am afraid TNX could be their only and possibly last (boy) group. Which is fucking sad considering Koki technically won LOUD. Since PSY cannot bring former Team P Nation members back into this group, the only solution is leaving it all on EunHwi, but even then... we cannot expect EunHwi will do some magic trick and everything changes top to bottom. So my last idea is sending TNX/a few members to Boys II Planet (the season 2 of Boys Planet) and hoping that would bring them popularity, but in case those members make it to the final line up, it would mean having TNX with even less members for a long time and after the survival show group disbands, they can start to grow properly, but that would be somewhere around the 6th-7th year of their career. And sure... in the best scenario they stay together at P Nation, but then there comes the personal question/worry of mine... by this logic... Koki's group might not debut within this decade... I know I have gotten to unrelated topic outside of Road to Kingdom Ace of Ace, but knowing what was going to happen in this episode, seeing EunHwi going there alone to save his group, it just got me teary-eyed and emotional. And in general Road to Kingdom provided me big insight into what the problem regarding TNX's popularity is, so many of my thoughts regarding this group's career came back into my mind. I know this is just a wish of mine, which will not solve anything, but I would love to have Koki back here. People might not even remember him by now and those who will remember him, they cannot say anything to his age now. So he might bring at least some fans of his to this group and he would definitely bring an edge to this group again, which would be helpful. And in general it would a nice "fresh restart" for them and their discography. I mean, Koki would not be an ace, not at least as he was at the end of LOUD, but in these battles of aces he would have won without a doubt... Like... dance battles like these would have been a warm up for him if he was with TNX here, he faced these types of dancers (or even pro dancers) when he was like what... 5 or 6 years old??

2024-12-15 04:40:50 +0000 UTCI actually had the same thought. I feel like he had considered it before rtk. The announcement came only a few days after the episode aired. I look forward to see what the boys do next though.

2024-12-15 00:48:30 +0000 UTCI also agree that Seoho isn’t exactly an ace in the sense you’re talking about, but I think he knows how good he is vocally because I’ve watched every concert of theirs that fans have put on YouTube, and he definitely flexes that aspect several times. But no matter how vocally good you are, I do agree that even those members aren’t always ace qualified. It’s proven in other groups too like with Seventeen. DK and Seungkwan are the main vocals, but its members like Hoshi that are aces imo

2024-12-14 23:33:14 +0000 UTCWhile I understand why TNX ranked 7th for the ace ranking I still can't believe their group performance for round 2 was ranked last as well. It's definitely a shame that they got eliminated first, I really wanted to see more of their performances... BTW Cravity and Younite both had comebacks with a single album this December so if you're interested in them you could check that out.

2024-12-14 22:25:18 +0000 UTCI wonder whether or not Kyungjun had decided he'd leave the industry if they got eliminated first, rather than his leaving being a result of it. Something about the other members' emotions made me feel like they weren't only upset about the elimination.

2024-12-14 19:48:31 +0000 UTCI love that for each Oneus performance they sing live. That is one of the main things that sticks out to me. They're so seasoned and comfortable with their abilities that they can kill it live

2024-12-14 19:23:26 +0000 UTCthecrewone is hard as the main reason they came together for this was because ist and bluedot were considering disbanding them both so they tried combining the two to see if it would work
