And I tried to drink it then I thought ‘What’s the expiry date for love?” captures the everyday-life moment. It doesn’t feel like cringe or stupid in Japanese. Of course it may not have to be milk but for me I cannot think of other foods that can replace the lyrics. Milk usually has short expiry date and if certain period passes, it would affect our health, so we all become extra cautious by checking the date. This action is so natural in our routine and everyone does the same. Woozi and Bumzu turned the scene into something special by elevating the point of view from usual product such as milk to something invisible like “love’s expiry date” which most of us never really thought about it before.

Idk how to explain it but they capture the same spirit of japanese anime like ghibli or makoto shinkai films?? Thats why the visuals suit the song sooo much but also make me tear up each time 🥹 The song itself released a bit earlier than the mv, and it was amazing listening to it but I think the mv really elevated the message o🩵 I'm missing jeonghan and jun even more now
