Subbed just to see the PLAVE reaction 😁 ngl a little disappointed with your view however, excited at the hope you'll react to their discography and we'll get to see you fall in love with them. Their mini-album ASTERUM 134-1 is probably one of my favourites this year. Vocally they're really one of the stand out groups of this gen and ironically for a virtual group we see so much more of their personality than a lot of groups

I do understand that it's also part of reacting to things, but a little curiosity goes a long way in their case. I'd love if you checked out the MV to the song they performed in here - the setup of the MAMA performance sadly doesn't do it much justice. They share some frequent collaborators in common with tripleS (and ARTMS) in EL CAPITXN and VENDORS, so if you're interested in that I think there's plenty to be gained from their discography.

2024-12-14 09:54:46 +0000 UTComg rlly?? we, PPLI, would love you to give them a chance, PD! i will be honest with you tho, if you are not watching their variety (lives? ig :D), you are REALLY missing out! xD they are one of the most hilarious idols i have ever encountered. their personalities are so unique and distinctive, and their chemistry is absolutely off the charts xD i mean... their latest song literally has a part that includes a cute silly rap that one of the vocal line members wrote during a live, which was memed by the fans so hard... and they just went an included it into the official song to own it lmfao... btw the song itself was created LIVE in front of our own eyes!!! that was one of the absolutely most insane experiences to me, i always look for production crumbs from idols, but got served a whole freaking pie. yes it was very yummy, and I keep coming back to it time to time to re experience the process of the creation :) its so magical, and the composer line look SO professional doing it, i truly admire them, being musician myself. i really wish for the dancer line to go live and create a choreo in front of our eyes like that as well ahaha if you are not aware, PLAVE writes and produces their own music and their own choreo (!!) because, according to them, when they just started and paid money for choreos and songs, what they were offered didn't meet their standards (lets just say the offered product was far from first rate), so they decided to do everything themselves :) ok ill stop here, but i could honestly ramble forever about them lol btw!!! here is a thought for you! Soobin has his new show on pixid right now "Your Favorite's Favorite", and two of the PLAVE members appeared there!!! I highly recommend the show itself, its super funny, the guests are awesome, and ofc Soobin is a comedy king. I really loved soooo muchhh Treasure stage, they really makes me feel like I was watching old awards stages and it’s soo INCREDIBLE frr!!!🤍 Like you said, they gave us a reaaal good time and it was incredible to see them go and interact with the public, it was really amazing✨

I am so excited to continue to see him develop into an even more recognized and amazing performer then he already is.

I have a vehemently strong stance against the irresponsible use of technology, and I think given that K-Pop and most of the Korean industry at large is a money making machine, and often puts the "profits first" concept, it was very easy to assume that PLAVE, while vocally talented was selling a gimmick and taking advantage of these guys for a concept by not "letting them" have a public face. But reading some of the other comments provides an interesting insight which makes me actually respect what PLAVE is doing (at least the members anyway I still never side with companies unless I see and fully understand their motives) and it makes me want to go and check out the PLAVE MVs now! One aspect, an important aspect, of what makes K-Pop great imo is the "journey". It's not just music, it's the journey of the idols and the digital aspect definitely is why I never started checking them out in the first place. But now that I have a slice of some of the story (very specifically the human story and not the "group story lore") I'm definitely more interested.

They gave us good Time, showcased their talent ,interacted with the public but " I won't count them because they didn't do theatrics" 🤦🏿♀️

I-Land 2 was THE survival show of 2024 and seeing the girls perform here for the first time and watching the flashbacks made me so emotional and the journey was so fun getting here! Seeing all of their individual strengths showcased in this performance made me miss the show even more.

Here is a even funnier fact: Hana used to be Kokos dance teacher when she was in middle school. So if anyone is to blame for Kokos amazing dancing its the Hirai sisters. xD I really hope Koko and Momo do a challenge together at some point.

I think you share a lot of the misconceptions and prejudices against PLAVE that anyone who hasn't bothered to engage with or even look up any information has. I know where you're coming from when it comes to emotional connections and whatnot, but I feel that lumping them in with "what's wrong with society and k-pop" is unfair. They're not a product of AI, they're all former idols who have been through the wringer, they perform live, participate in their own choreo and songwriting, and there are hundreds of hours of content where their personalities shine through. Reducing real people to some gimmick that you want to skip past to get to another act because they're not "real" enough k-pop seems pretty contrary to being enthusiastic about humanity to me.

They should have released the final line up version and they should have performed it completely there too! Treasure: I always love this rap trio to start the performance and then they rock the stage with the rest of Treasure. It is always such a fresh air to the whole show. But at the same time I would appreciate any surprise, because they have done it kind of three times in a row. APT.: Of course I love anything related to APT., but considering Rosé and Bruno attended MAMA and they received an award together (Rosé did with Bruno the typical K-Pop thing: "It has been...", that was funny!), I would have appreciated FUCKING LOT if they performed it live there (this was fully pre-recorded) and the whole stadium would go: "아파트, 아파트, 아파트, 아파트", because during the announcements of winners, it got played and people went crazy just because of that...

And because of it, I feel they exude different auras from each other as well. Is it just me?

But unfortunately they didn't work out, especially because of there appearance. That's why they are virtual anime boys now. They want to keep being idols but in a safe place. And they do idol stuff, they just don't show there faces. I'm not a huge fan or anything, but I still like the group. I see them like vtubers or like hatsune miku hahaha. I feel like kpop has way bigger problems than plave being some anime boys (sorry if I said something wrong, english is not my first language and I can't write haha)

To me personally though, PLAVE stands out BECAUSE they put in their performances more effort than some of other artists that I occasionally watch, which is mindblowing to me, but ofc its my opinion and im not trying to throw shade or something, just voicing out thoughts (pls dont be angry with me ahah!) its interesting how we perceive the same issue but from different angles haha its curious because I am the type of a person who LOVES emotion and connection with the artist, i always watch their faces for facial expressions and stuff, so when I felt that connection with PLAVE more than with some real artists it baffled me and hooked me instantly

But I personally have watched them since their debut and they are full of character thru their live streams. amazing to watch for me 🥰

They also sang live which I don’t see mentioned enough with their perfomances. BND improves every perfomance so I’m very excited what the future has in store for them.

Soobinie is on a break due to health issues, it started after the sanctuary promotions and we don't know for how long, but we hope he's getting all the good rest he needs so that he can get better! Also, today bighit announced that TXT will FINALLY get their well deserved vacations!!! After gda they will get a few months to rest after all the constant hard work and busy schedules, so moas are really happy the boys get to take a rest and recharge for a bit so that they can come back strong and healthy in 2025!! We don't know how long their vacations will be, but they have a festival in april 2025 so it'll be around that time!

2024-12-10 17:12:48 +0000 UTCThe intro for treasure was requested by mama, after last year which was a sucess, this year mama asked them if they could do a new intro with rappers again, and i have to say they pulled it off again. they were one of the highlights for day 1 and probably my favorite from day 1. My favorite thing about treasure is that no matter where they perform they always turn it to their own concernt.

Izna’s performance was amazing especially for a debut, they really do give me modern izone vibes for some reason. I hope you check out their kcon performances of IWALY, Fake It, Drip and their cover of Lovesick Girls. Those will show you even more about the members talents and live skills.

The members continue to improve so much every single comeback, tour and just year and can't wait to see where do they go from here. I'll pitch it in here: please watch Daydream's Track Video and some stages and the dance practice (the upper body isolations during Ni-ki's "sweet sweet kiss" section AAHHH) as they promoted for a bit on music shows after mama and damn. And pleeeaaaasseee watch WALK THE LINE Seoul Day 2 when you have the chance, the guys truly outdid themselves with this new tour. So much of their own thoughts went into the design, stage direction and logistics and everything is fucking insane. They continue to grow as artists in every single aspect that it could ever mean and they just celebrated their 4th anniversary... 2025 is going to be so sick for them. Now onto my rant for the members: Jungwon's solo stage was sooooo pretty and he looked so pretty and I love it when his dancing gets highlighted, as a group full of amazing dancers, and with someone as crazy talented as Ni-ki it can sometimes feel as he doesn't get a highlight but as you've said, Jungwon is slowly but surely coming out of his cocoon and become that outstanding performer we all knew he could be and I'm just in awe all the time seeing him grow. His (sadly unseen) footwork on Daydream was CRAZY SHIT, thank you fancams for that. *pitching in their MAMA 2024 and Daydream dance practices* Jay has become such a rockstar in the past two ish years but this year my my guy has gone INSANEEEE, I love that he plays guitar whenever and wherever he can, he always has one with himself when they travel and there's always one laying in the background whether they're in a trip, in a shoot, in their practice room and even in Illit's behind the scenes content HAHAHA, he exudes such rockstar energy but he's also extremely cool and just ugh. Heeseung, I have no words haha, man is crazy and gets crazier day by day. His stage persona and presence is such a treat to watch and leaves me in shock with how cool he is on stage yet I know that man is obsessed with ramyeon, collects keyboards and has Toy Story figurines at his dorm T-T lmao Ni-ki is such an amazing artist, and he just turned 19. When Ni-ki and Heeseung guested at Bada's show I was seeing how different each of their styles was and yet how nicely they all fitted with each other and how crazy good the duo of Ni-ki and Bada would be as they matched each other's energy the best and most, never would I have thought he would get a stage with them together fighting for a coffin containing Sunghoon at MAMA just less than a month later lmao. He is truly a monster on stage and I'm honestly scared with how crazy he will be in a year or two seeing his growth in the past 4 years. Sunoo looked amazing and I love how cute he can be while also going full on sexy when he wants to, loveeeee his facial expressions here. He's grown a lot and as they all are, he will continue to grow. The Enhypen members push each other to improve and I feel like Sunoo will soon hit a stage where he will surprise EVERYONE with his improvement. Can't wait huhu Jake, my guy. Brought The Heat back has brought out something out in Jake that I have no clue how to put it into words. He's always been a great performer and that Icon of Growth title isn't just a couple of pretty words, he has really something in him that just screams STAR and Daydream has brought it out once again, been obsessing with his fancam a bit much lately haha. And lastly, but not less amazingly, Sunghoon... man has truly conquered the MAMA cameras and that vampiric cockiness(? in such a way that I can't even explain wtf. The rose was supposed to splatter blood when he squished the sponge but it didn't, which is why he is hand was a bit shaky so he thought he needed to express how bloody it was and boom, adlib turned into iconic moment, grabbing his neck and smearing all the blood in a crazy sexy way to then perform Daydream with such coolness. Man was in a coffin for a while and he truly looked fucking cool there, just Enhypen and their resident vampire looking dude things I guess. Overall, crazy shit. I'm impressed, I'm screaming and I just wish they had won something at MAMA aside the Fan Voted award... all the attendees received an award (attendance award kind of like), except for Enhypen. They were placed behind everyone when they were sitting and they didn't have a light on them so it was hard for fans to see them, they were also somehow not included in any of the dynamics the hosts had when they were engaging with artists and the camera rarely panned the shot on them so we could only see them at the back of the shot when they were showing Treasure and ZB1 which sigh... Mnet and CJ's beef with Belift and their artists, can't expect less from them since they sold the shares to HYBE last year and since then Enha hasn't won an award outside the fan voted one :D. Like why would they have Illit performing at MAMA US when Magnetic and Illit themselves have been so fucking huge in Japan??? Having them and TWS perform in the US confirmed by suspicions that neither would win SOTY... TWS is not even really known in the west like Plot Twist was viral T-T. Also, Perfect Night not being nominated sucked as well but oh well, Award Shows being Award Shows I guess. Enjoyed your reactions as always, hope you can react to Daydream stuff, WALK THE LINE in Seoul Day 2, 1N2D, So So Fun and Minju's KBS show (as Eunchae's Star Diary is over as she's no longer the MuBank MC) called "Minju's Pink Cabinet" which has a very nice dynamic and the guests have been so fun. The members have shown mental and physical exhaustion since midway this year, so I’m glad they can get this break.

COVID restrictions really impacted so many shows :( 5th gen kpop acts are really starting to take root and blossom and they've shone so much here. I've liked kpop since early 3rd gen and it's crazy how things have changed so much since then omg...

They didn't mention what kind of sickness and for how long. I hope he got good rest at home. His health is what matter most. TXT is forever 5, even 1 person is missing, it will make us sad. And today Bighit announced that all of them will go on a "long-term break" after Golden Disk Awards in January 5th. It's their first long vacation since debut 🥲

Today, it was also announced that starting january 5th, txt as a group is going on a long-term break after almost 6 years without one!
