In this video, we discuss a few easy to use and flexible methods for awarding magic items and treasure in your Dungeons and Dragons 5e campaign.
We’ll explain what’s going on “under the hood” in the treasure tables and rules for awarding magic items found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide and expanded on in Xanathar’s Guide to Everything. We’ll help you determine the right balance of magic and treasure for your campaign, and discuss how to adjust for both high fantasy and low-magic settings.
