2024-12-12 07:42:21 +0000 UTCKai during debut era, IMO he still having voice changing phase. I can hear his vocal & voice tone has some changes comparing during his debut and now. I think now he finally relax and confident with his vocal. I know from their past vlive, the other members said Kai has higher range than now and able to sing Bruno Mars "Talking to The Moon" in its original key but puberty hit him😅

2024-12-10 10:26:02 +0000 UTCI'm so happy and so proud of Kai. I still remember back in their debut era, whenever I watched their behind the scenes recording videos, he was noticeably straining. Perhaps (hopefully) nothing serious, but you could tell. Paired with the fact that kpop is insanely high most of the time, I don't know how that played out for his vocal health. And then it just went away. It wasn't magic obviously, it was pure hard work and growth, but it almost seemed that way. Suddenly our baby maknae began to sound and act and project like a legit rockstar. He used to shy away from his high notes in music show encores, and one day he was just belting it and letting his voice crack freely if it had to. I LOVE to see him confident and shinning like a star :') It's my hope for TWS's Kyungmin as well. Mind you, that kid doesn't know how to shy away from anything, but I pray we will see him in a similar place someday.

They shine such much on the stage live Also I feel like you have missed out on some of their Japanese releases where they tend to have more vocal based ballads that show off way more of their vocals (I cannot double check the master list to be sure since it’s locked for me but I can’t remember you checking out many of their Japanese songs/albums)

2024-12-07 19:40:37 +0000 UTCPD, I remember when you 1st react to TXT One Dream show, you've said, "If you want to watch a concert, please watch the 1st show and the final show where you can see the growth". I guess this can also apply to this performance too. Their vocal maturity comes from their experience performing Loser=Lover since day 1 of their concert in 2022 until this year. This year alone, they have 33 show for their concert including 5-days encore (3-days in Seoul & 2-days in Osaka). Imagine singing that song live with high energy. In my opinion that really horned their vocal stamina and skill. I can consider myself lucky that I able to witness them singing this song live for 2 years in a row.

2024-12-07 05:43:39 +0000 UTCAll the members sound so mature here. You are so right about Kai, so much growth. Yeonjun's pitch accuracy and strength behind his voice is really shining here. I also used to have a hard time picking up Beomgyu's voice in their earlier days. I think Freefall era , specifically Skipping Stones, I started really appreciate the layers to Beomgyu's voice. He can really add powder when he wants to. I'm so used to Soobin doing the beautiful head voice and falsettos that when he gets to performa song where his lower register is used, I'm obsessed. Lol I LOVE the warmth of his lower notes. And Taehyun for me has always been consistent and so passionate when he sings. He's really perfected his craft.

2024-12-07 05:43:17 +0000 UTCYou're definitely not wrong about Beomgyu. I think his voice tends to get forgotten or hidden the most among txt. His vocals are often lost to overmixing in the final production of songs, and it leads to his voice being mistaken as another member while also not showing his true, raw vocal talent. That's why he always seems to stand out so much more in live performances. In the Minisode 3 recording session video you can hear how much he's gotten stronger vocally, I really hope you watch it either as bonus content or on your personal time cause it's definitely worth it! Really shows how much they have all matured vocally, they literally sound like they're eating cds
