Where do these YG scouters find these girls?..do they just like randomly saw people and go "oh she got star aura in her" cuz where the hell do they find Ahyeon?..that kinda voice shouldn't be hidden in the basement the world needs to know that kinda voice and I'm glad YG picked her to debut Props to my boy Lee mujin too cuz that duet ascend me to a place I've never reach before..good god such a powerful duet

Also their voice together goes so well that I am wishing for a collab too lol

2024-12-06 19:36:14 +0000 UTCBy now YG should have released her version of Dangerously officially… Although I use Apple Music, I have YouTube Music thanks to YouTube Premium and Dangerously is the most replayed/listened to video/song in my YouTube Music recap 😅😅 I said it under reaction to Begin Again: BABYMONSTER Ahyeon & Pharita… if any member did not make the cut, it would have been a big loss, but Baemon without Ahyeon would be a group without its heart… She is just crazy… she is not officially the main vocalist, because she is the “lead everything member”, but I guess she could easily join Rami and Rora for the main vocalist position. And although she does not get to shine with her rap as much as Asa and Ruka, she is native Korean compared to them… By that I do not want to say main rapper can’t be of different nationality and obviously both Asa and Ruka have learnt Korean long enough to be fully fluent, but I would say this applies to any language that native speaker simply has it in their DNA to know how to “bend” the language without thinking about it. So… I can actually see her joining the main rapper line up too and with her dancing skills she is right behind Ruka and Asa and although she might not get the main dancer position, because in this regard YG has been pushing Chiquita to make it possible for her in the future to jump from the lead dancer position to the main dancer, I hope she keeps the “GD-ness” and she can become known for her freestyle dancing as G-Dragon is (while he has never been the main dancer of BIGBANG, by pro dancers he is viewed as the best when it comes to freestyle). And to all of this… keep in mind she is still young, she will get even better. I mean, that is pretty much the idea/concept for whole Baemon… I always get into this again and again… Baemon is just one hell of a weapon group!! As if Yang Hyun Suk said with the funny voice of his: “Ah… so Kpop labels decided to debut truly crazy groups lately… okay… do you wanna get nuts?? Let’s get fucking nuts!! Baemon, I choose you!!” Regarding the stupid hate towards Ahyeon… Besides of what you said… there are even “wars” with the fandom itself, because Asa gained a lot of solo stans after her Me Myself & I performance in the Last Evaluation and those toxic fans can’t get themselves over Ahyeon being called the ace… Which is dumb as fuck… like… what kind of Eldians against Eldians propaganda is this stupid thing?? Why is there a need to hate members within the same group?? Besides that… I will get to the topic of “being the ace” in Road to Kingdom Ace of Ace episode (I have just caught up), but obviously there is no rule that only one member can be an ace. Acesa calls herself Acesa for a reason, but that does not mean A-Hyeon has to stop being an ace…

2024-12-06 16:58:44 +0000 UTCAhyeon received even a lot of hate after her appearance on LMS (especially for the Vampire cover) bc people critize her style of singing/performing calling it fake and that she's overdoing it, same goes with her high notes in BM songs. They also hate on her after she returned from her hiatus bc she was still introverted and shy in interviews and variety programs. I guess both because of her hiatus/delayed debut and because she was always standing out with her abilities she kinda became a target for all those haters, which is sad and probably the reason she doesnt read any comments or articles about her anymore.

After Charlie Puth giving them a song because of Dangerously, now G-Dragon liked a bunch of IG posts about this episode, but the craziest: Alex Porat (singer of the second song Hatelove) renamed the official MV of that song to include "(Covered by BABYMONSTER AHYEON)" in the title (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Hshju_2J-E) and has already covered a Babymonster song since (apparantly she already was a fan of them before this). And thank you so much for tackling the hate she gets!

2024-12-06 16:47:22 +0000 UTCshe has recently toned down performances, as someone who liked the really expressive performance I miss it, but she figuring it out and hopefully she returns to that powerful performer because watching those fancams you can see that she was truly enjoying being on stage. yeah the not reading comment probably began somewhere after forever came out because she used to mention how she used to read comment and also talked about things fans commented on.
