Iland 2 might be my favourite survival show and lineup (maybe after boys planet). Anyone who hasn’t seen it is missing out. And these girls have TALENT and charisma. So pleased.

That would be the theme song "Final Love Song" performed by all contestants and then there are three original songs from the show that made it into Izna's debut album. "IWALY", "Drip" and "Fake It". There are different versions. The ones from I-Land and the Izna version. I recommend watching both.

2024-12-03 17:49:18 +0000 UTCIm happy for Jeemin......in all honesty (a la TripleS Yooyeon) it worked out that she DIDN'T make it onto ILLIT given all the issues they've had (through no fault of theirs). She's a born center All competition show groups will have a member that didn't make it that should've as well as a member that did that the audience has issues with. For the most part, the composition of IZNA is about as well as it could've turned out. They definitely are quite a striking group

2024-12-03 17:21:53 +0000 UTCpd i feel like watching maybe 3 or 4 performances would give you an idea of whether you want to invest your time into this show. if you want to watch their pre show performance intro videos i recommend girlish choreo and hell dance if you want to watch auditions i recommend aespa drama,nct baggy jeans but if you want to watch what made me drop everything and watch iland 2 after swearing i wont watch it i recommend watching their "if i were a boy" stage. its a duo stage with members who are already made the group so it wont necessarily be a spoiler either.

The song itself is so weird....an "analysis" of it in isolation and you'd come to the conclusion it's not that well constructed of a song (bare production, the verses and chorus don't match chord wise, the chorus hook has been done a million times, etc) but after a few listens and it's a really catchy, likeable song and the charm and presence of the girls themselves take it to the next level. These are also all really well trained girls....there's a great mix of vocalists who can actually sing as well as dancers who can dance like crazy As far as competition show chicanery goes....the final episode 'surprise' (in absolutely no way do I think that wasn't scripted from the beginning....for those that watched the show) REALLY REALLY REALLY was the correct decision. That particular member just JUMPS off the screen

The other three songs on the album are from the show itself so not sure if you’d want to hear them ahead of time or see them first time through the show. But truly this show has the best outcome from a survival show I’ve ever seen.

The show will always be there waiting for you. So no need to feel pressured. But as I say that, I also need to remind you that you've been wanting to watch iland 2 ever since it was announced after Enhypen's season. That's like what 3/4 years agoo soooooo.... 😅 Also, I think this show had the best finalists ever. I honestly think if you picked any of the girls in the finale and formed a group, you would still have a great group.

Cant wait for the LP for IZNA! There’s no skip song AT ALL.

2024-12-03 15:38:55 +0000 UTCThats interesting that you pointed out Mai (person you pointed out that feels similar to Yeji) and Jiyoon (varsity jacket girl) as they were arguably the members that improved the most throughout the show and specifically on the attributes you pointed out. Mai on her vocals and Jiyoon on her performing charisma. Whats scary and exciting for us that watched the show, is that we’ve seen how skilled those other 3 members are that didn’t get to showcase much this song too so its gonna be amazing when they figure out a formula that lets them all shine. Although i do think this is already one of the most balanced groups ive seen come out of a survival show

Mai who you mentioned that stood out to you in this performance for her vocals…that is actually what she struggled with the most in the show and always received criticism on. You can tell she REALLY improved! I would love rewatching the show with you!!!
