2024-12-04 01:59:13 +0000 UTCEun gyeol's relationship with his parents really pull at my heart strings. But seeing him especially with Cheong Ah is one of my favorite dynamics in this show. With Lee Chan, you can see how similar they are as father and son, and in 1995, their closeness really translates well to a best friend type relationship. But with Cheong Ah, I see a certain softness he reserves for only when he's with her. Eun Gyeol said it best, his mom taught him sign language when he was young so he could be the bridge between his family and the rest of the world. Now, he is teaching his mom sign language to help her build that bridge on her own, one that didn't really exist in the original timeline.
