2024-11-22 21:35:52 +0000 UTCIt was pretty obvious from early on that members like hayeon and chaewon were definitely very well trained (even more so than founding members like seoyeon or yooyeon). Hayeon definitely does not lack confidence or a solid base in everything. It was just a matter of being given the opportunity to be highlighted. There's a reason she was given the start of the first verse in GND. If you have time (and also bc you understand korean) try and check out when hayeon did any of the radio hits like bae10 or Sungjae and friends radio. You'll see instantaneously that not only is she solid in the dancing/singing portion of being an idol but she is INCREDIBLY comfortable at being on mic talking and QUITE witty and composed. One of the main things all new idols struggle with when talking on mic are breaks/silences. Hayeon right out the gate is NEVER flustered and is very nimble on mic. It's pretty notable that technically she's only had 1 actual release with a promo period (GND) and yet has been asked back to Bae10 (and solo at that)

Sullin is growing of course, definitely there is a difference from debut Sullin (even though she is one of the last members that joined tripleS). You are so right about Hayeon ambition and "greediness" (she is the all-rounder of NXT for a reason) and also you are right about Joobin being mature, calm and sophisticated, she doesn't seem like the second maknae of all 24 girls

2024-11-22 17:15:05 +0000 UTCit made me so happy that sullin was the most voted member here. she's worked so hard since arriving in korea and has improved so fast considering she's literally been training on the job! i really love this lineup. seoyeon provides a really solid foundation to compliment the newer members! joobin has a really fun youthful energy, hayeon is really captivating and has such an alluring voice, and sullin has an unexplainable gravity to her movements (im heavily biased, she's my ult lol). she also said seoyeon has been helping her a lot and understands her as they both had no trainee period. very sweet π₯Ή i hope they do more of these to give the girls without a promoting unit a chance to shine!
