Are you a writer who doesn't already know me and wants to pitch? A writer who I've met before? Either way, email meβI'm interested in visual arts, museums, Chicago characters and lore, books, writing about Chicagoland writers, local wares, etc.
Rates for items in the sections I edit can range from $50 for a very short preview to $300 for a longer piece, it really does depend on a couple of factors. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I always make an offer first when accepting a pitch and am open to negotiation when talking with the writer directly.
