Dear patrons

Firstly I would like to thank my oldest subscribers, for sticking up with me through all these months. And to the new ones, thank you for joining me. I hope you enjoy whatever I choose to share with you here. You all are the true support I wish every artist could have, because it makes such a huge difference.

I would like to make an observation as well. Some people, when they unsub, they comment they aren’t happy about my frequency here. I guess they expected me to be more active, which is fine, I mean, everyone is entitled to their expectations. However, to clarify and explain my consistency, I wanna share this small detail with you:

🔆 Animations usually take me 3-4 days to finish, working long hours. Sometimes 2-3, when I work from morning to night nonstop. I’ve lost count on how many nights I went to sleep past 3am just to finish a work, having to wake up before 7am, which is when I usually get up.

🔆 An animation isn’t just a single drawing. I have to draw several different frames to get them to move in a smooth satisfactory way. Which is equivalent to posting up to 25 drawings a month. This is A LOT of work and requires a lot of mental and physical effort.

I hurt my back this last weekend, when I was finishing the last animation I posted, because I spent too much time in the same position to draw, and it was really scary for me because I spent the entire week barely moving because of the pain. I went to the hospital yesterday and only today I woke up feeling better. I have to take more care of my health from now on.

Patreon is my priority, because it’s my prior source of income. So I devote myself mostly to make animations. However, I also write stories (which also takes a lot of time), I have my shop and I have my personal life to take care of too. So all I ask of you is that you understand I’m doing the best I can. I really am.
