Progress update

Time for my now usual 2 day progress update.
Before I say anything else, I'd like to thank you guys for all of the comments and support in my plans post. It really means a lot :))
Now on to the info.
Well, there is only so much I can do in 2 days. I have about 20 renders ready ( I've been taking it a little easier). I expect, by the time the patch is done to have something in the neighborhood of 150-160.
But there is one thing I'd like to ask. In my previous update the boat renders were full scene. Not foreground/background. I did it because the boat was very small, and it looked ridiculous to do otherwise.
Now, I also have some cramped enviros, and I was thinking about doing the same thing in some cases. I wanted to know if the transition from foreground/background to full scene was too, how should I put this, jarring? Did it break immersion? Could I do it again for this patch?
