Seoyeon isn't actually the leader of tripleS, that's because tripleS has no official leader. That being said, the way tripleS works is that for each comeback/new unit, there is a different leader, usually voted by fans. Which she (whoever gets voted) gonna be the leader only for that period of time, like for example: With ASSEMBLE 25 it was Seoyeon, for tripleS Visionary Vision it was Hyerin, for tripleS Hatchi it was Mayu and so on. You can find them all in the tripleS Wiki, if you are interested! But yeah, the members sees Seoyeon and also Yooyeon as the leaders of the entire group, in general. That's because, Seoyeon other than being the first "S", she has this leading aura and general leading role in the group, even if it's not official. Then Yooyeon, her being the oldest, and also a Ewha University student, which is a science University in SK, every member, especially the youngest ones, look up to her!
