Half a year after teasing the idea of a French Empire dress and then getting lots of requests to actually get it done, It’s finally done!
The reason it took me so long, was that I had to hone my skills and learn to layer colors and textures before I was ready to actually get this thing done.
This Robe de Cour is inspired by various real life garments worn by the likes of Empress Josephine Bonaparte and Hortense de Beauharnais. The dress has many different variations and 36 swatches in total.
