Hope everyone's doing OK. I'm trying to keep things as normal as possible in these very strange circumstances. So I'm just keeping busy, making these videos, teaching, and recording music. I'm very fortunate that most of my work these days can be done at home and online, so in that respect not much has changed. Just won't be playing gigs any time soon....
Onto this week's video, and the Nice Lick series is making a bit of a comeback. This one is is a vaguely David Gilmour-ish phrase. If you always find yourself using a scale or pentatonic approach to soloing, this idea could provide you with some other options.
