“Suspended among the towering giants of the forest, the city breathes with the trees themselves—its upper walkways alive with birdsong, the resinous perfume of bark, and the soft rustle of leaves underfoot where moss and grass have taken root. Rope railings braided with vines guide travelers through streets that sway with the wind.

Below, the air thickens with the damp scent of earth and mushrooms, where ring-shaped platforms cling to colossal trunks, their bridges swaying with each step.

The sounds shift here: the chatter of birds gives way to the low hum of insects and the groaning of ancient wood, wrapping the lower paths in a quieter, more intimate rhythm of the forest.”

Forest Town Encounters is a two-map pack that brings to life a settlement grown into the very heart of the forest. The first map features the upper canopy platforms—broad wooden structures resting among the crowns of towering trees, joined by two great bridges and edged with rope railings wrapped in living vines.

The second map shows the lower ring platforms—massive wooden circles that embrace the trunks of ancient trees, linked by sturdy bridges that sway gently with each step. Together, the two levels create versatile settings for your game, from bustling markets and quiet meetings above to tense chases and ambushes in the shaded paths below.

These maps, as usual, come with a number of tiles to adjust the encounter to your needs, and has been set up in our Foundry module to make it easy for you to swap between the variants!
