"The forest arena rises like a wooden coliseum, its towering rows of carved benches encircling a wide, sunlit pit below where warriors prove their skill.
The scent of sap and trampled leaves hangs heavy in the air, while every creak of the timber blends with the hushed anticipation of the crowd.
Fallen foliage carpets the steps and drifts across the fighting ground, stirred by passing breezes from the canopy above.
Two grand boxes face one another from opposite sides, their carved railings polished smooth for the city’s elite, who watch from the shade of overhanging branches that stretch protectively over the gathered throng."

Forest Arena is a 34×34 map — rows of wooden seats ring a deep pit where combatants are tested before roaring crowds beneath the forest canopy. Yet the true wonder lies in the arena floor itself, enchanted to shift and transform at the will of its keepers.

One moment it may become a battlefield strewn with the bones of long-dead beasts, the next a living grove with a rushing stream, and then suddenly a vast basin filled to the brim with water. Each fight is as unpredictable as the arena’s shape, and every challenger must be ready to face not only their foe, but the ground beneath their feet.

This map, as usual, comes with a number of tiles to adjust the encounter to your needs, and has been set up in our Foundry module to make it easy for you to swap between the variants!
