Sewer Cavern [30x20]

The crumbling channels of the sewers churn with filth, and the cloying stench makes even the hardiest of creatures nauseous. Wading through the sickening grime, the adventurers journey onwards and discover a break in the wall, revealing a natural cavern.

A 29x20 Encounter map for the most classic of adventuring locations, Sewers! Burst pipes gout scalding steam for the players to avoid, while a large pipe route cuts through the flooded cavern, allowing possible flanking maneuvers for the PCs or any gruesome creatures they may run into.

Tiles are included that allow you to repair the pipe and walls. Or perhaps you want the cavern completely flooded, but be aware that whatever lives there creates a dangerous whirlpool for anyone who comes too close.

Alternatively, the adventurers could stumble upon a dangerous fungal infected variant with ominous green glowing spores! Featuring all the same tiles as the standard variant, designed to fit seamlessly.

The map should be versatile enough for any encounter, but if you're stuck for ideas or need a quick random encounter, here are some small scenarios you could add:

Encounter Suggestions

Encounter A:

-The Kobold workers' union has downed tools and refused to do maintenance until their demands are met. The adventurers are hired to 'negotiate' with the workers.

Encounter B:

-The stench from the sewers is to be expected. One stench, particularly foul, permeates these channels. As the adventurers investigate, they stumble upon a hungry Oytugh that now has them in its sights.

Encounter C:

-(Fungal variant) A maddened Spore Druid with an irrational hatred of sanitation infrastructure has begun raising an army of corrupted Myconids while infesting the pipes with infectious spores. The Sanitation Guild calls on the Adventurers to handle this menace before filth begins to fill the streets.
