Meeting of Gods

After speaking to Razim, Maya returned to Seth’s side and sat beside him, supporting her head on his chest and closing her eyes.

Razim never showed her face for the rest of the journey, while Water and Lust spent it casually chatting with one another.

A few days later, the water bubble around the group disappeared, and Razim manifested before them, “They’re close.”

Water and Lust returned to their hosts’ bodies while Seth and Maya opened their eyes and sat up, coming to stand next to Razim.

“Are you going to remain by my side?” asked Seth, his eyes staring forward unblinkingly.

“As annoying as you are, I can’t pick the loser’s side now, can I?” asked Razim back with a raised eyebrow.

“Do you have that much confidence in me?” asked Seth with a smile.

“Not really. I know how dumb those two are. Can you fight if things get heated?”

Seth nodded and didn’t say anything else, while Razim also chose to remain silent. Maya appeared the most relaxed in the group, hanging on Seth’s arm and rubbing her head against it.

A few minutes later, a giant fireball came from the distance, rushing straight toward the trio. Noticing the fireball’s speed not decreasing as it got close, Razim snorted and waved her hand, sending her energy forward.

A giant water ball collided with the fireball in the distance, erupting in a tremendous steam explosion. The blast split into two, passing right by the trio and eventually clearing up, revealing two sources at its center.

Energies manifested around the two sources, forming two men with dark looks staring at Razim.

“What do you think you’re doing, Razim?” asked one of the men, the other quickly adding, “Are you that eager for another war?”

Razim didn’t back down and said, “Do you two knuckleheads think I was just sitting here since I don’t have better things to do? Why didn’t you stop?”

“Because we’re busy. After chasing that divinity to the ends of the universe, a new one popped out of nowhere. Of course, we’ll be rushing there to check it out. Why are you not doing the same?” asked the first man again.

“Vayu, how can you be so dumb? Do you think two divinities appearing in the same world is normal?” asked Razim with a mocking look.

“You know something about them? That’s why you’ve been protecting that world?” asked Vayu back, and the other man quickly added, “I told you we should have wiped that world out back then. This bitch is planning something.”

“Oh? Dukbium, did you forget how our last fight ended?” asked Razim with a raised eyebrow, a water bubble appearing over her palm before immediately erupting into steam.

“That’s just because you have that sea world to draw as much energy from as you want, but come fight me in my domain, and we’ll see how that goes for you, “ added Dukbium with a disgruntled look.

“And whose fault is it that you’re an idiotic hothead?” asked Razim.

With flames already appearing in Dukbium’s eyes, Vayu placed a hand on his friend’s shoulder and said, “She’s taunting you.”

“What do you want, Razim? I don’t think you came here to ridicule us.”

Razim shook her head and said, “I’m just escorting someone else. I have no interest in your issues.”

With Razim’s words, both Dukbium and Vayu turned to look at Seth and Maya for the first time.

“Two demi? “ Why should we care about two demi?” asked Dukbium with a loud laugh.

Seth smiled back, not caring about Dukbium’s stupidity, but Maya scrunched her eyebrows and asked, “Love, what’s wrong with that fool? Has his energy fried his brain or something?”

Seth ignored Dukbium’s black face and laughed, “No, love. He was a fool even before he got a crown.”

Dukbium exploded with energy, but before he could attack, Vayu once more stopped him, “Don’t act rashly.”

“What are you on about? Should I let those two trash talk to me like that?”

Vayu sighed and shook his head, using his energy to pressure Dukbium as he said to Seth, “Who are you two?”

Razim watched the show between Dukbium and Vayu and couldn’t help but comment under her breath, “These fools forgot about it.”

Seth nodded softly, saying, “Dukbium is understandable, but I didn’t expect Kronos to get Vayu as well.”

Dukbium didn’t hear the two’s words, but Vayu did, and his scowl deepened, his energy taking the form of a tall, transparent woman right next to him.

The woman didn’t even look at her host or Dukbium, her eyes staring at Seth. “You must be the murderer. I can feel my brother’s energy all converging around here.”

Vayu looked surprised and looked at his energy will, “Murderer?”

The woman ignored her host completely, and fire energy left Dukbium’s body, forming the fiery silhouette of a young man standing right next to her.

Seth smiled at the two wills and nodded, “I am indeed the one who had taken over destruction,” waving his hand, Seth allowed Lust to manifest as well.

With the party complete, Water also came out, standing by Lust’s side.

The party of five suddenly turned into a group of nine. As Fire and Air stared at Lust with apprehension visible in their eyes, a peal of loud laughter echoed throughout the darkness of space.

“Someone organized such a grand party and didn’t call me? That’s a bit rude, don’t you think?”

With the new voice’s presence, everyone turned to the side and watched a massive dark sphere approaching far into the distance.

“This old hag…” muttered Razim with a frown, turning toward Seth, “Can you fight her?”

Seth also frowned as he watched the approaching planet and shook his head, “One-on-one, yes, but we both know she’s not alone. With Vayu and Dukbium in the mix….”

As everyone waited patiently, the sphere stopped a few miles away, and earth energy flew out of it, rushing straight to the rest of the party.

The brown energy rose, slowly forming a human silhouette, opposite both groups.

A pair of long honey-colored legs formed first, followed by a slim waist, bountiful chest, and finally, her perfectly round face. The energy slowly materialized, and a pale green dress covered her naked silhouette, cut on the left side of her thighs and hanging loosely at the chest to reveal all her provocative features.

Her pale yellow hair drifted onto her back, reaching her waist, while her blue eyes passed by and stared at every present member before her bright red lips arched into a provocative smile.

“Good to see you all here once more, Razim, Dukbium, Vayu, and…” she paused for a second as she looked Seth up and down, “Seth.”

“Gaia,” muttered all the called gods simultaneously, all carrying a displeased expression, Seth included, having just realized she knew who he was.

“Why the long faces?” asked Gaia, covering her lips with her hand to mask her giggle, “Wasn’t this supposed to be a party? Oh, dear me, don’t tell me I got it all wrong.”

Maya stared at the newcomer with a curious expression and opened her mouth to speak, only for Seth’s voice to resound in her head, ‘Don’t taunt her. She might look like that, but she’s a monster. She’s also not the Gaia I told you about. Not anymore.’

“Goddess of Earth, we were only having a little chat,” said Vayu, to which Dukbium quickly nodded to show his agreement. Razim frowned and remained silent while the other energy wills all had severe looks in their eyes.

Seth stared into Gaia’s eyes and asked in a dark tone, “Are you going to intervene in my issues, Gaia?”

Gaia didn’t mind Seth’s tone and asked with a smile, “You know, don’t you?”

“It’s too obvious,” replied Seth. “So, are you going to stand against me?”

Gaia kept her smile and nodded, “I am.”

“Why?” asked Seth with a sigh.

“Because I know you’ll come for me sooner or later, too,” replied Gaia indifferently.

“Sister, this - “Lust started speaking but halted as Gaia’s eyes sharpened, and her smile disappeared. “You don’t have a place to speak, and don’t call me that.”

‘Lust don’t. You don’t know her as I do,’ said Seth, still hoping to speak calmly with Gaia.

“Can I ask you why you have already devoured your host? That was not supposed to happen for eons now,” asked Seth.

Gaia’s smile returned, and she tilted her head, “You don’t know? It’s because of you, of course. The Tower might have managed to hide you from the others, but to hide such a large time disturbance from me is impossible.”

“I felt time revert and knew it was your wish. After all, you were the only god stupid enough to climb that place. After guarding against the time change, I tried to search for you in your world, but the Tower even locked me out of your space.”

Seth sighed and nodded, “It makes sense. You’re the youngest reformed divinity, after all… So what do you plan? You know you can barely hope for a draw against me, even with Yggdrasil at your side.”

Gaia supported her head in her hand and gave Seth an amused smile, “Yggdrasil? It came, but oh boy, you are too young to be playing these games with me. You don’t even know who you’re up against.”

As Seth frowned, wondering what Gaia had up her sleeves, the world behind Gaia rotated, revealing a massive tree hidden in its shadow, radiating life and death energy.

The next moment, Seth felt space break right next to Gaia’s world and noticed a massive Tower appear out of the space tear, extending by Yggdrasil’s side with no end.

Everyone’s faces fell as the Tower’s doors slowly opened, and a six-handed man walked through its doors, standing right by Gaia’s side.

“Long time no see, Seth.”
