November 2021 Update

Hey lovelies, got some updates for you all!

Legends of the Frost 2.0

Yes, LOTF will get updated to Skyrim SE 1.6.318.0 when that is possible. It's the latest patch that was released alongside AE (but doesn't require you to own the AE DLC). I intend to release LOTF for Skyrim AE as 2.0 without requiring a new game. It will likely have a Creation Club profile with support / integration of SOME creations as well as a performance profile with DynDOLOD on medium and 2D trees for our potato friends.

LOTF 2.0 will release whenever all mods requiring an update received that update. Currently the counter is at 9/40.

LOTF will also receive update 1.6 this weekend with the usual assortment of small additions and changes (for Skyrim SE 1.5.97.0).

The Phoenix Flavour 5.0 aka TPF-X

I have made some progress on TPF-X, hooray. After literal months of back and forth I decided to split it in two profiles: The TPF-C (Classic) profile will have Enhanced Vanilla Trees, Serio"s ENB, Relighting Skyrim, basic TPF stuff plus maybe Wyrmstooth. The TPF-X (extended) profile will be the crazy one with LUX, Rudy ENB, T4"s tree mod, COTN, etc.

At this point I have no idea what the AE / CC integration in TPF 5.0 will look like since barely any mods are updated so far.

I also don't have an ETA. It's a huge project with all the stuff I'm adding and progress has been excrutiatingly slow. I'm hoping to get it out this year but who knows.

Welcome to Paradise 2.0

As mentioned before, the Fallout bug bit me again and I returned to WTP. Now one reason for why I disliked working on it lately was because it is a hot mess. Past-Phoenix documented fuck all, curse her. So I sighed and went about rebuilding the setup from scratch, this time documenting every bloody change I made in MO2 (like I did in LOTF).

WTP 2.0 is largely a behind-the-scenes update. It does NOT feature many major additions, no new content, or new CC support (sorry). It DOES feature Previs Pack instead of Boston FPS Fix which should fix some crashes and further improve performance. I also improved the shadow INI settings after getting some recommendations.

I decided to ditch Workshop Re-arranged which is just too cumbersome to work with. There  are some new fixes, tweaks, retextures, adjustments to my power armor paint job edits, and new Pip-Boy paint jobs (no creations required).

Finally I am also writing a proper gameplay guide / documentation for WTP.

I expect WTP 2.0 to launch "soon (tm)", maybe this weekend if I can be bothered to finish the documentation.

Beginner's Guide

Still a pain in the ass, but I made some progress. It is now specifically for post-AE Skyrim SE.

In other news

I GOT ACCEPTED TO UNIVERSITY! Yeah, I can hardly believe it myself, but it's true. I'll be moving to the Netherlands in January and start my Liberal Arts & Science programme. It's scary and exciting and I feel all kinds about it. Currently scrambling to get it financed, applying for scholarships and such (yes, I know I'm a little late).

Me starting uni will obviously affect my modding projects, but I have no plans to abandon any of them. It's really too soon to say just how much time / energy I'll be having for it.

Right, that's all the November news. Hope you are all doing well!

Love, Phoenix
