Welcome to my 87th newsletter, and Happy New Year!

This is the first newsletter of the New Year, and I'm excited for 2025. I plan to submit Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven, Part 4, towards the end of April and get it published this year. Many people don't realize that it takes a long time to edit and publish after I submit. I've seen people post that Part 4 is coming in May. Once I hand things in, it's primarily out of my control. Hosted Games has numerous authors fighting for their attention.

Until April, I will be focusing on Safe Haven, Part 4. I have other games in development, but I would rather get out this part of the game, since it's also my most popular.

In this newsletter, I will also go over my plans for development, like I always do.

Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven, Part 4

Part 4 is 733,000 words, with over 31,000 words added this month!

This month, I mostly worked on the scene that will bridge the gap between chapters. This will allow you to do tasks around the junkyard, assign people to different duties if you are a leader, and interact with group members in more social ways. Writing this kind of content is fun because I get to explore the different personalities and storylines for all the characters.

With the new content come new opportunities for tattoos. Someone asked if we could get matching tattoos with our romantic partner, so I wrote a whole scene about that. It turned out longer than I expected, but seeing the types of tattoos they would choose was really fun. I also appreciated everyone providing tattoo ideas; many of you will see them in the game.

I'm also excited to write the scene where you can play Dungeons and Dragons with Dante and the rest of his group. Not only does this give Dante some content, but many Safe Haven players will enjoy this crossover. It will be an abbreviated scene but will showcase many of the players' personalities and give opportunities for making choices that affect the game inside the game.

You will also be able to explore romantic relationships with the possible new group members: Allison, August, Anders, and Monica.

Next month, I will keep going with this bridge chapter and finish it so I can finish Part 4 by the end of April.
