This scene also assumes that the MC is running the group in a democratic fashion (as opposed to community-based, military base, scavengers, or raiders.)

Rachel pulls out a map of the area and points to an area near the lake she circled with a blue ink pen. "It looks like the factory was called Evergreen Engineering and Metalworks."
Jaime rubs his chin. "If the River Dogs are in an old metalworking and fabrication plant, they might be sitting on a lot of supplies. Metal parts, tools, maybe even some machinery we could use."
Rachel takes a deep breath, her eyes narrowing. "I'm sure we all want to go to meet the River Dogs. It doesn't have to be a very long, but we need more information about our neighbors across the lake."
Jaime folds his arms. "I want to meet the River Dogs, so we can see if we have any common ground. It would be nice to have allies so close to the junkyard."
Rachel nods in agreement. "Exactly. It's good to have allies, especially since it looks like this outbreak is going to continue. We can support each other and maybe even trade supplies."
