Safe Haven Scenario Poll - Airport #4
Added 2020-02-12 14:00:03 +0000 UTCIn our last poll, you selected that a fire from the explosion spreads to other planes, threatening more explosions and setting the terminal on fire.
In this poll, we will decide on an area or object for the group to search while the fire burns at the terminal and until infected arrive.
Convenience store - lots of goods inside but several infected roam inside too.
National Guard medical tent - set up on the outskirts of the airport. Looks deserted.
Duty-free shop - It looks sealed and gated which could mean it has lots of valuable items inside but will be hard to break into in time.
Airport lounge - A group of survivors can be seen through large windows overlooking the airport runway. They appear to be trapped inside as the fire spreads.
Baggage claim - Several trucks carrying baggage from past flights are parked on the side of the runway. Though the bags would be easy to search through, the fire is quickly spreading in that direction.

I can't edit the poll, so I am going to include the lounge plus the top vote. I like your thoughts on a survivor's perspective.

2020-02-14 19:58:35 +0000 UTCI would also like to pick airport lounge. People are much more unpredictable than supplies. From a survivor's perspective, I would choose one of the others because supplies means better survival, but from a reader's perspective because we need to remember that this is a CYOA/CoG game, the airport lounge offers a greater air of mystery. Will these people be happy about saving us? Will they attack us for any number of reasons? Will they help us or hurt us in the long run? Can we get supplies from them? There are more ways this can go than on any of the supplies areas where you either get something good to take home or don't.

2020-02-12 14:53:55 +0000 UTCThe choice for airport lounge is missing, but that's the one I would've picked! :) I love when MC meets other survivors...my second choice would be the national guard medical tent, because my main MC (aka my favorite) was a doctor before the outbreak, so I think her first instinct would be to go for more medical supplies. They're going to quickly become rare as time goes on and things get dire for everyone (well, more dire than they already are lol!) as we get further along in the apocalypse.
