Chapter 9 Scenario, Poll 1

In this first poll, we will establish optional survivors to take. Select your first choice for someone to bring on the mission. The top 3 survivors will be options to take. I typically like to offer one core member (Jaime, Rachel, Reilly, Brody, and Madison) and additional flex NPCs.

I've done 5+ playthroughs, and of the NPCs here, I'd love to be able to take Lopez on a mission. His character intrigues me, even after learning why he showed up in front of the player's house. His skills from the military could also be helpful if there are confrontations, or if the player has a more commanding and/or high intimidation mindset that meshes well with Lopez's inclination to follow authority. My second choice to go is probably Woody. He's just such a sweetheart and I can't get enough of him. The guy's too endearing for my native american/pacific islander nurse character to resist! As for the core members, I'd like to travel with Reilly. He's definitely trigger happy, so for better or worse, he could make things interesting on missions if there's run-ins with enemy NPCs (or zombies, but my first thought was meeting other people and if he'd react similarly to when we met Layla) -- especially if your character begrudgingly takes him along/he volunteers, and the two of you have a history of butting heads. In robber playthroughs, it'd be cool to find out more about your character's history with him! Or for those who did other professions, talk about how he got into robbing banks...and Nora's past as a criminal, too lol I think there was a throwaway line mentioning that, and I thought it was hilarious.
