A huge step… (and some wild 🍄👹 surprises)

Hello Humans,

Thank you for voting on my blog last week!

The decision was loud and clear - this month's main offering will be a new song called "God of Neither", which is based on the last conversations I had with my grandma (Marcelle) before she passed.

So far I've recorded the pianos and done my first scribbles of the lyrics:

Most of these are nonsensical ramblings but that's how I write, the more that comes out of my head and up on the page, the easier it is for me to form full, poetic sentences and tweak it til it's done.

It needs work but I'm pleased with where it's going, I will finish it soon.

Now onto the big news!

DOOMSTAR SIGNED US!

Crimson Veil are now officially signed to Doomstar Bookings – the agency that works with Igorrr, Heilung and Imperial Triumphant. Feeling very grateful right now to be on their roster and I look forward to more shows and tours because of this huge step.

Our management and label are very happy about this and I look forward to sharing our next tours with you soon! Most likely this will be 2026 onwards. But this is great news for us!

SEPTEMBER HAPPENINGS...

September is all go at the moment, so here’s what’s coming up…

🍄 On Sunday 14th I’ll be singing to the mushrooms at All Things Fungi festival, Garry and I will be there playing accordion, piano and double bass songs.
On Sept 15th the new HVIRESS music video "Welcome To The Bitchhouse" drops! Keep your eyes peeled for some ritual magick...
📚 Then on Tuesday 16th, I’ll be inside the breathtaking Bristol Cathedral for the book launch of Cloister. Tickets are only £4 and available here.
📣 Our newest podcast episode, The Shoestring, is out now – it’s about life as a DIY musician on a budget (something Hana and I know a thing or two about…) and apparently we just passed 1,000 downloads!
