How to recover from a recovery festival

Hello Humans,

I'm finally back and settled at The Nest and my wonderful music studio.

However, it's been a hectic couple of weeks... we had Garry's parents and my step-child Elise staying with us for a while, and off the back of that we worked at Essex Recovery Festival, where I was working and representing Not Saints, the sober label I work for.

I played in three of the acts - Hana Piranha, The Chemical Perils & The Velveteen Orkestra, whilst managing the stage and running about a farm making sure things were running smooth.

I slept in a tent, drank only caffeine and ate mostly crepes.

I had some amazing conversations and met some beautiful people.

However, I feel somewhat rinsed.

The festival was definitely a success but I definitely used up all my Mishkin tokens, today I am working mostly from bed.

Chemical Perils songs - Jesus Wept, Villainous Victor & The Bad Seed

These three remaining songs will mark the end of the new album... now titled Glimmertown.

It will then be time to do the final mixes, masters and get ready for release! Exciting!

New HVIRESS songs

Yes. HVIRESS is back with a new album. Hana and I have been hard at work and now we're getting into the production stages. We should have a brand new track ready for you soon, hopefully later this month.

Plus, all to be reveled - the album title + cover... unseen photos... and mysterious special guest appearances...
