Getting It Right... Takes Practice

Hello beautiful souls,

I write to you from a restful state, currently residing in Hana Piranha's beautiful music room where we are just hanging out, with a piano and notebook, drinking coffee and writing lyrics. It's exactly where I want to be right now.

I came very very close to a burnout this week.

Thankfully the new-and-improved-updated-and-healthy version of Mishkin is slowly taking control and I was able to spot the signs... and stop.

The old me would have kept pushing and pushing and eventually come to collapse and have a full bi-polar episode which means crying in bed for days on end and not wanting to be awake at all!

But here I am, resting and taking it very easy.

Thank you for all the lovely and supportive messages. I never have to worry about postponing things here and that really, really means a lot.

Anyway, thanks to my amazing videographer Matas, I have ready for you the vlog from May 2024.

As you can see it was a crazy busy month which explains some of the exhaustion!

I hope you enjoy it.

It includes some incredible (and arousing) moments with Dan Shears (Velveteen Orkestra)... Anna's dad's reaction to the Crimson Veil song Opulence (he counts the time signatures)... and our very first festival appearance at MetalFest, CZ! 

It's a very fun one, despite getting stranded on the way back.

Over the weekend I will be teasing out the two brand new songs from The Chemical Perils, Other Side & Glimmertown.

They are all done and beautifully mixed by Garry Mitchell, ready for your ears only.

These are two of my favourite songs from the upcoming record, so I know you're going to dig them.
