How was your Christmas? Did you survive the New Years Party?

Was it good or are you just happy it's done for another year? Tell me your news.

I am splendid.

I'm currently floating on a pink-fluffy-cloud of creativity, excitement and good vibes right now.

I seem to have entered this year on a bit of a high... which isn't like me at all.

I usually shrink from January and hide away from the dark of winter, feeling rubbish until Spring has sprung and I can poke my head out.

What's going on then?

Is it because I kept up my exercise routine through the holiday?

Is it because I just have a lot of really good things to focus on?

Is it I'm just bipolar and really high right now? 😂

Whatever it is, I'm feeling gooooood. And I hope you are all doing well too.

1. Chemical Perils Song "Not Your Light"

Yes! Jonny Peril and I are back with a brand new song this month.

A beautiful piano and vocal duet called Not Your Light, a song about co-dependency and avoiding toxic relationships when you're in recovery.

Jonny has written some beautiful lyrics and I've arranged the pianos - it's got a gospel feel with Nick Cave vibes, I think you're gonna love it.

2. Livestream on 24th Jan + special mystery guest

I've decided this January to make a public livestream to show those who aren't on Patreon what they're missing. I hope that's alright with you guys?

I figured you won't mind the extra crowd and it'll be fun to do a public gig as it's been ages.

Put the date 24th Jan 7.30pm in your diary!

3. Lamb of God vocal cover "11th Hour"

By request! I've finally got round to doing it. This is one of my FAVOURITE SONGS EVER.

Lamb of God have such a huge space in my heart - especially since I found out years after listening to them that Randy Blythe is sober and this song is about his battle with alcoholism.

It's also going to be a massive challenge. The odd death growl/fry here and there is ok but this song is immense and Randy's voice is unparalleled in might and tone.
