Ciao amici come state?

In queste giornate calde afose, torniamo insieme domani mattina alle 9:30 per la nostra diretta e quale sarà l'argomento?

Prendo spunto dall'evento a cui ho partecipato nel week end a Torino: Miss Drag Queen Piemonte e Valle d'Aosta.

Una serata piena di colori, musica, sorrisi, libertà il tutto condito da temi molto importanti e quanto mai attuali come la paura di essere se stessi e di venire giudicati se non si rispecchiano gli standard. Che poi quali sono gli standard e chi li definisce?

Ma il mio pensiero va alle confidenze che mi hanno fatto i concorrenti prima di salire sul palco; alla trasformazione, a quanto sia difficile far capire che la Drag Queen è un'arte che si porta sul palco e lo può diventare chiunque anche una donna o un etero.

Cosa ne pensate di questo mondo? Vi siete mai avvicinati per capirlo maggiormente o, semplicemente, vi siete mai truccati anche solo per un giorno ( ad esempio per qualche festa)scoprendo che non è stato poi così male e magari avete scoperto di avere una parte femminile che era ancora dormiente?

Di questo parleremo domani mattina senza pregiudizi come il nostro canale è solito fare perchè la libertà anche di espressione è la cosa più bella che ci possa essere e noi qui ne siamo un pochino paladini.

In these hot, sultry days, let's get back together tomorrow morning at 9:30 for our live broadcast and what will the topic be?

I take inspiration from the event I attended over the weekend in Turin: Miss Drag Queen Piemonte e Valle d'Aosta.

An evening full of colors, music, smiles, freedom, all seasoned with very important and ever-present themes such as the fear of being yourself and being judged if you don't reflect the standards. And then what are the standards and who defines them?

But my thoughts go to the confidences that the contestants made to me before going on stage; to the transformation, to how difficult it is to make people understand that Drag Queen is an art that is brought on stage and anyone can become one, even a woman or a straight person.

What do you think of this world? Have you ever gotten closer to understand it better or, simply, have you ever put on makeup even just for a day (for example for some party) discovering that it wasn't so bad and maybe you discovered that you had a feminine side that was still dormant?

We will talk about this tomorrow morning without prejudice as our channel usually does because freedom of expression is the most beautiful thing that can be and we are a little bit of a champion of it here.
